I like Copper, but they are just taking advantage of supply and demand, and I can’t fault them for that. South LA is a public golf wasteland.

Why? What they have should have no bearing on what you need in retirement.

No doubt. But seeing those numbers compared to mine at least would provide an apples to apples comparison.

Telling me the average person has $87k and the average boomer has $200k is misleading. Because, again, 50% of society are basically worthless people with no job/drive/ambition.

Reading this makes me feel silly for being so paranoid that I won’t have enough for retirement one day. I’m clearly ahead of the game.

You might be ahead of the game, but I hope you aren’t coming to that conclusion by comparing what you have to the paltry numbers posted in the OP.

We must all remember: 50% of society are essentially worthless. I don’t need them included in any comp numbers to try to determine how I am doing.

This one is getting hard to watch. Down to 4.79.

I’ve got a lot of capital tied up here and am just sitting here each day watching all these AI stocks moon.. does kind of suck.

Get on a healthy diet, and get on a running program.

He needs to do more than run. He needs to do some resistance training. Building muscle will increase resting metabolic rate and burn more calories.

Resistance training >> running for losing weight.
I don’t believe it’s televised. Just been refreshing every 10-15 minutes. They lost first hole but now 1up thru 7.
Former Southeastern golf teammates Grady Brame Jr. and Lawrence Allan just won their semifinal match on the 22nd hole. Finals coming up probably in an hour or so.

This is a national USGA event with ~2500 entrants. Winners get a spot in the U.S. Am among other things.

Aaron Rai is a similar comp to Webb

In what world?
This is a phenomenal leaderboard. Wish every tournament was “set up” like this.

Mr Jim Moore putting $40m into the re-build…

That’s a pretty jaw dropping number.

This is very sad. Hammond downtown is a great spot.

They’ve removed a couple of tennis courts for the driving range/short game expansion. I heard they are putting up a net too which is great and will keep balls off #2 fairway.

Looking forward to the reno. Ironically greens are in best shape I have seen them in like 10 years. Current conditions are not sustainable though and the reno is sorely needed.

You seem to have mis-interpreted the meaning of the data

I understand exactly what the data is. But these threads always go the same way.. a bunch of highly educated, successful people talking about how they are above the average or median. As if that means anything when those numbers are so terrible.

Average is not as useful since there are large savers.

Median isn’t useful either.

I'm using my 56 and using the bounce. Dropping that clubhead and letting it kick off the hard ground.

So… you blade it intentionally?
I use my lowest bounce wedge on tight lies inside 100 yards which is my 56°.

You want to reduce bounce on tight lies. I’ll also play it a little back in my stance to add forward press and reduce bounce.

And I almost punched my car stereo after the “don’t stereotype” comment by Sid Edwards. frick that guy.

Sid campaigned on being tough on crime and gets up there and says that stupid shite. Infuriating. frick him.

I voted for another republican last election. If Landry follows through on this I’ll be first in line to vote for him.
