Reports out that the surgery went flawless and nothing unexpected was found in the knee. They feel it couldn't have gone better. The doctors are optimistic for a full recovery. TY Dr. Robert Hancock!!

ETA: All feel at this point, AT THIS POINT, that he should be back for the beginning of next season.

Good for him - he's had more than enough bad luck.

Good for Chubb. I really like the way he plays the game, and seems to be a great kid off the field as well.

Hope he recovers fully

This puts a big arse happy smile on my face....I will never forget how loud I yelled in pain watching that injury. Him and LF are in another league...really look forward to him getting back.

Glad to hear that. Hate to see young athletes suffer such injuries be he seems like a well rounded young man with a good attitude and approach to his rehab and recovery. He reminds me a lot of Henry Josey and his attitude and approach to fighting through this situation.

Wish him nothing but the best in his recovery.

Who down voted the OP?

Seriously, there are some sorry excuses for people on here.

I remember there were two threads about Eric Berry beating cancer and both got down votes.

How do you down vote anyone beating cancer? How do you down vote a kid having successful knee surgery? Are your lives that pathetic? Seriously?
