I have a feeling Bama fans better be prepared for kyler Murray to see some series doing his best JFF scramble impression. I think spav has him a few packages for
A change of pace. We know bamas weakness is defending dual threat QBs and he's fast....

I think 38-35 loss to A&M. True to self, Bama misses 2 or 3 field goals.
Then they beat UT the following week 30-20.

Coker aside, Bama very rarely absolutely blows coverages and yards after contact are almost nil. We're going to have to force Coker into some bad throws or get a strip sack; however, that is all predicated on us actually being able to force Bama into passing situations anyway. If our LB play doesn't improve, I could see Bama doing a few 15-play, 80-yard, 8:00 drives without throwing it at all.

Special teams could be huge here. Also hopefully Coker gifts us a couple.

Kyle Allen needs to play lights out. I expect us to have 50 yards or less on the ground.

In the past seasons yes but we have yet to really see one this season and our DL seems a lot better to handle it with a lot more speed up front. So no not really worried about your QB.

For me this game will show how good our D because it should the best all around O we have played. It will also determine if aTm is there or not.

A&M is rated 12th in SEC for run defense?

I wouldn't be surprised if A&M won. I think this Bama team is one of the weaker ones of the Saban Era, possibly the weakest overall. Dat D-line doh.

Your hopes and dreams will crash and burn. Keep the Bama hate coming though, I love it.

I agree. The A&M DL is VERY aggressive, and the LB's aren't there yet, so it leaves them vulnerable to good running teams.

If they lose to A&M, they are going to make us bite the curb.

The only chance we would have to keep it close, not win, keep it close, is if they win a bloody battle with A&M and show up wounded in Tuscaloosa.

We're not going to beat Alabama, Alabama won't beat themselves, we can only hope to keep it respectable.

This is the one thing I am worried about playing a tough game before playing UT. But we have UT home and the crowd should be fired up.

That's not bamas offense anymore. Kiffin isn't comfortable unless he is throwing it half the time.

I imagine we'll pull out the monsoon game plan for Texas A&M. We're going to line up and run the ball right at Myles Garrett over and over if Kiffin has a brain, and then we're going to play action and throw it to Ridley over the top. I think our defense can keep A&M in check for the most part. It won't be the drubbing it was a year ago, but I expect our defense to limit what they like to do.

Tennessee doesn't really worry me, but they'll probably play us closer. I expect a game similar to Arkansas in that one that we win ugly.

I def doubt we win for sure, but it is a good spot for us.

We have the pressure off and will 100% be playing with house money.

IF Bama can go on the road to A&M and win in a tight tough game, they will be worn down coming into our game.

Maybe they look past a team they've dominated for 8 years and we can keep it close to the end?

Just saying these two games to me are tougher for Bama than I bet the national media will let on.

Yeah -- at 182 yds/game, and we've allowed exactly two 100 yard rushers (Collins with 151, and some scrub for Nevada went to 107 in garbage time).

Not too concerned about our rush defense.
