Even though it is just MTSU, I'd be surprised and impressed if Alabama shuts them out. Shut outs seem increasingly rare these days anyway plus MTSU runs a decent hurry up no huddle offense and scored 70 points in their first game (albeit against an FCS team). 70 points is still a lot. I love this game for Alabama - will be good to play against this style of offense early on.

Playing in Nashville...2:30 CBS game...As of late, Georgia tends to struggle against Vanderbilt. With Derek Mason calling the defensive plays, Vanderbilt's defense is light years improved from last year. I believe they are first in the SEC in rushing allowed and second in first downs. Western Kentucky isn't that bad of a team for a mid-major and Vanderbilt's offense did everything possible to ensure a loss. I think the defense keeps Georgia in check.
Oh yeah...I bet that Georgia won't cover the spread (got it at -21).

I don't really see this happening. I'm not saying it won't be closer than expected, but Vandy's defense being better doesn't mean they are good enough. I see us moving that ball easily.

I think MTSU gets some garbage points at the very least. They seem to have a solid offense.
