Dear God, do you know what kind of shite you are in for?

When I see new fathers, I think....I need a nap and a raise.

No one can until they live it. It's the strangest thing. Something so small can be so loud and demand so much attention. Equal parts joy and misery, but worth every second. It just kinda sucks for a while. it's part of the initiation into fatherhood that all must suffer. Roger will be fine.

It's definitely easier than a bratty little teenage daughter. Such a creature brings with her all these bitch-arse little punks hanging around the house like they have a snowball's chance in hell, each waiting to die of an acute case of lead poisoning.

I have learned a lot about myself from that experience, like how I am unequivocally and decidedly capable of cold-blooded murder with zero remorse.

I'll be 27 on the 12th, and officially older than either of my parents were when they had me. I know if I had to, I'd be up to it, but it just seems so surreal to me. Growing up as the oldest, I'm very comfortable with the requirements/process of raising a child but the emotional/mental/spiritual idea of procreation is just so unfathomably big to me right now.

What a blessing.

Well as a father of a 2 and a half year old, I never got much misery out of it expect when she got sick or hurt and then there is nothing you can do about it.

It is a complete game changers. Your time is now their time. But like you said, its worth it.

I'm dreading the teenage years. I'll probably be on HGH by then and improve my gun collection. Little shits will scared shitless to disrespect my baby.
