I wanted to get a prediction thread going before we start fall camp (wins/losses only). I figured we could revisit before the ASU game to update based on developments in camp. Maybe do a weekly score prediction as the season progresses. Then after the season we can see who comes the closest.
I'll start with my pre-camp predictions:

ASU-W
Ball St-W
Nevada-W
Arkansas-W
MSU-W
Bama-L
Ole Miss-W
USCe-W
Auburn-L
W. Car-W
Vandy-W
LSU-W

Maybe koolaid speaking but I really have confidence this year. I just think that the demons of the "rift" in the team from last year are gone and we go on a roll.

I am thinking 9-3 with losses to tFlagship, Ole Miss (letdown after a potential Bama upset), and Auburn to be looking for revenge.

Honestly though, this season is up in the air for seems like every SEC team. I don't see any definite wins or losses against any of the SEC west teams.

I see us starting out shitty (3-4) resulting in general melting and panic, then recovering to roll into 2016.

Ball St-W
Nevada-W
Arkansas-L
MSU-W
Bama-L
Ole Miss-L
USCe-W
Auburn-W
W. Car-W
Vandy-W
LSU-W

I think we lose 1 to Bama/Auburn, so I'm going with the earlier matchup as the loss.

I think w/ bad luck we also lose to the other Alabama team, as well as ASU.

Floor of 9-3 with a win over LSU. With a year experience in Chavis's system, I like our chances in the bowl to get to 10 wins.

Just curious, no flaming...why do you think this is the year y'all get over the hump and beat LSU.

From my perspective we bring back most of our starters/heavy contributors from last year...my prediction for y'all.

ASU - W
BSU - W
Nev - W
Arky - L
State - W
Bama - L
Ole - W
USCe - W
Aub - W
WCU - W
Vandy - W
LSU - L

9-3 not too shabby.

A&M also returns most starters/heavy contributors. One of our big problems has been that all of our defensive talent was extremely young. This year it's just going to be "very young".

Going Chavis->Steele(and Orgeron) is at best a slight downgrade for LSU. Orgeron's a terrific position coach, but his main contribution is going to be felt in future years as his recruiting results pile up.

Going from Snyder->Chavis is a HUUUUGE upgrade.

Getting Christensen as OL coach/run game coordinator is a significant upgrade.

Lose a close one to Bama, then have an unexplainable meltdown at Ole Miss. 10-2. I'm not buying into Auburn and don't get why they're being pumped up. I'm looking forward to a Boom meltdown at Kyle.

I think the change in philosophy on defense will make the difference. With that change we should match-up better against the run

LSU fans have some karma coming I hate to say. No one ever talks up Kevin Steele as a coach who doesn't regret it (unless its a recommendation for his next job). We don't even matter as this point, the football gods want to see the Chavis beats LSU melt.

In general we will be much better. I feel better at the talent level at QB, WR, DL, LB, & S. I feel better about the coaching on D (big time) and OL/run game.

Then you factor in LSU will not be as good defending the pass happy spread. I'm not predicting full on meltdown just yet, but I think they take a step back. QB play is still meh and LSU has already show even with elite talent on O they're not going to be elite on O. Cam just isn't THAT good.

Lets be real A&M was a blown call from likely winning last year. If you disagree then we can put the "3rd & Chavis" stigma to bed.

And 1 last thing, Sumlin, Chavis, and A&M will have this game circled. We may very well be playing meaning bowl game.
