LSU can't hold Auburn or UGA's jock historically much less UT's.
Latter is debatable but otherwise you are retarded

You are incorrect Sir.
LSU was the 8th best team of the 1940s.
LSU was the 6th best team in the 1960s.
LSU was the 14th best team of the 1970s.
Even in the 90's at our absolute worst we managed a 10 win season.
But don't let that stop your False Narrative.
I'm calling bullshite on the sixties ranking. No national titles for that decade and the best finish was #4, so how in the hell does that make LSU the 6th best team of the decade? Arkansas has a national title, finished with a better win percentage and was ranked higher then LSU in most final AP polls of the decade, but LSU was a better team? bullshite!
The only thing they give LSU more points for was tougher schedule (really?) and more "Big 4 bowls", which had little-to-nothing to do with how the teams fared. Arkansas played in twice as many Sugar Bowls as LSU did for that span and played in the same number of "Big 4" bowls, so I have no idea how they arrived at that conclusion.

Lol, really? Why should we stay away? Because we rank low?
I love these types of posts.

If you have an issue with CFDW's methodology, by all means email them.
...and LSU got fricked over royally in 1969. Google it.

Have no idea what you mean, so I'll check it out.
update: I assume you're referring to LSU not receiving a bowl bid, despite a 9-1 record? If so, I don't see how that changes anything.
Alabama won 2 national titles that decade, despite having a worse record then Arkansas both times. The CFBDW gave Alabama 100 points for those titles and Arkansas received 15 for sharing it with them one year. Lot's of injustices back then and we had more then our fair share, also.

1960s
LSU: Sixth
Arkansas: Ninth
Tissue?
What do you want me to say?
Sorry about Arky's two non-winning seasons that decade?
Also sorry about LSU ruining your perfect season in 1966 by beating you down in the Cotton Bowl?
So many Arkansas tears over the years.

The Arkansas Razorbacks put their 22-game win streak on the line in the 1966 Cotton Bowl Classic against their rivals, the Tigers of LSU. Arkansas had the number-one scoring offense coming into the game, averaging 32.4 points per contest. LSU prevailed 14-7.
So many Arkansas tears over the years.

We received a bowl bid, which we declined because goddamn Notre Dame decided that was the year they were going to lift their self-imposed bowl ban and the Cotton Bowl selected them to play #1 Texas in our stead.

Ah... well LSU should have told Notre Dame to go frick itself. If Arkansas had beaten Texas in the GOTC, I doubt that Notre Dame would have lifted their bowl ban to play us. Screw 'em.

Penn State below Minnesota should immediately discredit list. From the looks of it, too much emphasis is put on NCs, which Minnesota claims 7, 5 of which are between 1930 and 1940. General consistency should weighted far higher

We pretty much single-handedly cost Joe Theismann the Heisman in '71, so there's the silver lining.

Arkansas State and ULM both have the same number of "National Championship Points" as Arkansas does. How do they come up with this stuff? Seriously, I've kept up with Arkansas State for most of 40 years and I can only guess they're talking about their Division II title.
update: figured it out
So a Div II NC is worth as much as the FWAA, which is recognized by the NCAA and was once considered just as worthy.

National Championship Ranking Component
50 points are assigned for being awarded a national championship from the AP Poll, Coaches Poll, and the Bowl Championship Series. 15 points are awarded (1900-current) for all other National Championships recognized by this site in addition to the lower division National Championships.

I noticed your bitch arse is still here but not commenting on 41-13
You'd rather talk about 2003 than 2012, understandable I guess coming from a Sooner whose program is on a steady decline.

Injustices? Alabama should have won in 1966 too. But that was a political move.

Winsipedia is a cocksucking, politically correct site. Alabama currently has 879 wins, 4th behind only Michigan, Notre Dame, and Texas.
We should overtake Notre Dame and Texas next season to put us in 2nd place, overall, in total wins on the field.
Any site, not the NCAA, that uses official stats and not games played stats is a joke.
College Football Trivia
At the end of the 2016 season, Alabama will be in the 900 wins club.

What about 41-13? I can talk about pretty much every year you were in the conference if you'd like. You beat us with the best player in the history of your fake program, Johnny Eightball. Congrats on your single phyrric victory.
Who's in decline? Us? LOL!!!

Not as political as President Nixon personally declaring Texas the National Champion
Posted on 8/1/15 at 10:02 pm to PAGator
That's because the UPI was still awarding before the bowls even though the AP stopped doing that the previous season.
