Totally agree. I don't hunt anymore, gave it up for golf and season tickets, but grew up around it so I'm not some anti hunter, but trophy hunting goes against everything I was ever taught by my dad and my uncles.

I don't think enough is being done to stop poachers in certain pockets of the world, however, in this case people are going too far with their attack on this guy. Should he be fined, hell yes, but he shouldn't be receiving threats and having to worry about his livelihood.

And you're exactly who I'm referring to when I lambast the people who don't give a shite about eliminating other species and their environments on this planet. Humans are proliferating so fast that whole ecosystems are destroyed without any thought to future consequences.
What are you going to do when all the trophy animals are gone? Turn to humans? Well, there are already people doing that. They're called serial killers. Unless their victims are animals, that is.

Every news article says this lion was "famous." Well, no, he wasn't. And just cause some numnut named him "Cecil" doesn't mean he wasn't a lion. He was a lion.
