Honestly, Aggies pride ourselves on hospitality.
If you can't have fun in College Station you're really doing something wrong.
Yes, I know. It's not a pretty campus.

I have good friends/family from every school. My Arkansas boys from Hope are cool and never get out of hand with flaming, unlike the ArkTards on here. My wife's dad is an Ole Pisser, for the last 11 years I've bit my tounge, so he doesn't yap much when they squeak one out. Actually have a Gay Cousin that graduated from aTm, yea seriously, one of his "boys" actually sends me $100 bucks in the mail every year for our annual Bet. Thats respectable
Honestly the shittyest fanbase's I've encountered in real life are Florida,Flordia St., ND,and Texas. Bama gets an honerable mention, but most arnt completely retarted and will actually talk with some sense

Three downvotes. What a bunch of uncultured fricks on this board.

I don't think you can smoke in the stands. Went to the aTm game last year and the smoker I was with had to go to a designated area I thought.
Depends on how drunk you are.

A&M was great. Rode the bus from the mall over to the campus and nobody in your face, yelling. Just cool. It was hot as hell but standing in line people just aid howdy and welcome to college station but other than that didn't say much but I'd rather have that than some idiot walking behind me screaming some BS chant at me over and over like I didn't hear him the first time.
Got over to the campus and everybody was extremely hospitable. Walked over to the Dixie chicken, had some great conversations and never had any trouble walking to the stadium or leaving. Great group of folks. Extremely classy fanbase. Thats a road game I will make every time.

I can see why people don't like LSU fans, but if you're with a bunch of tigers it's the most fun I've ever had tailgating, and was reluctant to go to the game. Auburn fans are cool, a lot like tamu fans, they'll give you a war eagle and ask How's your mama doing. Arky fans are annoying goddamn hillbillies, and that's being generous. Half of the bama fans are cool, the other half are prissy frat daddies and crazy fricking rednecks. State fans minus cowbell are good people.

I have found that every SEC stadium I've visited has been very hospitable. I also have been very nice to them and not obnoxious. I'm "older" and that may be one reason but most SEC fans are just really nice folk. yea, some of the younger males are looking for trouble but just smile and ignore them and you'll be ok.
the absolute worst stadium I've visited is auburn. my van spare tire was slashed and my wife and I were subjected to lots of abusive language by several young punks that were drunk on their butts.
the most indifferent was vanderbuilt. it's like their fans don't want to interact with other teams fans. it's easy to say they are aloof but who the hell knows. it was still better than visiting Auburn. I'll never go back.
contrary to this board, Florida is one of my favorite trips. I've had good experiences and the state has so much to offer I tie it in with a vacation.

I've been to State a handful of times, and I don't agree at all.
In my experience, USCe fans are probably the most hospitable. Obviously, two fans can have two very different experiences on the same day given the individuals they happen to come across.

LSU fans were very hospitable to me in '08. Did I get "tiger baited"? Of course I did, but then they asked if I wanted a beer or some jambalaya. Uh frick yes I would like some jambalaya. I miss Baton Rouge. Just not I-110 or anything North of that.

From my experience Mizzou. Lots of verbal head being given to UGA and the SEC in general. They also made 1,000 Jell-O shots for Georgia fans. That was pretty unreal to me. It made me feel like they are too nice to be in our conference.

I though Carolina fans were pretty nice. They fed me very well.

The only time I've gone to a game in Columbia, I was on shrooms. Accidentally got boiled peanuts and it ruined my trip.

How's that work when we visit LSU next year? Auburn fans?
if you want to survive the experience unscathed its best to just smile and nod. pretty much any conversation, no matter how friendly, is going to get you spat on, punched in the nuts by little kids, piss ballooned, genitals hurled at you, unwashed fruit bowls, hit with whiskey and/or beer bottles. I once saw a LSU grandma hurl a used tampon into a crowd of unsuspecting Miami fans...and LSU wasnt even playing Miami!
