That is a nasty way to start the season. They do get most of those games at home though.

And Butch says something cliche to fire his team up, only to piss Alabama off and it ends in another of a long line of curb stompings they've taken from Alabama.

OU, Ark, Georgia are for sure losses

They can't beat Florida and it's at Gainsville so that's 4

Bowling Green could give them fits.

2-4 at absolute best

I'm going to need some Vols to post at least 10 articles on recruiting rankings before I can make my decision on this question.

Bowling Green 99%
Oklahoma 55%
W. Carolina 100%
@ Florida 55%
Arkansas 55%
Georgia 45%

I'd say we have better than 50% chance in all the games except UGA which is probably very close to a toss up right now.

I think we will get to 4-2.

This is a rare double troll. To do so effectively requires immense talent.

Troll Tennessee - you aren't as good as you think you are. your schedule is brutal. you'll likely have 4 losses and a losing record after 7 games and be fighting for a bowl game - not the East division championship.

Troll Alabama - schedule. You still have Tennessee on it and we (those who choose to troll Bama) will never acknowledge UT as a good East opponent. We (LSU fans here) will point out how great of an opponent UF is, all while ignoring what UF is over past 5 years.

maybe .500. OU and Ark are losses. UF will be entertaining and UGA always finds a way to look bad against UT lately.

UT will be undefeated going into the Bama game. College GameDay will host Dobbs and company as they skullfrick Saban's face.

I wouldn't be completely shocked if UT beat OU in Knoxville. I'm not sure how good or bad Oklahoma is going to be this year, but they have a new OC going back to the air raid offense, and I'm not sure if they have the pieces on offense to make that work right away.

Especially when you consider that UT should be pretty good rushing the passer.

As bad as UT's offense was in that game last year, the defense certainly bothered OU quite a lot in that game, and I think on the front end, UT should be a little better next year, but I still have questions about the back end. Sutton can't do it himself.

I like them right at 3-3 right now, but wouldn't be shocked if they managed 4-2, as they have played Georgia extremely close the last 2 years and Florida may be really really bad.

In terms of records through those games, here is my guess at likelihood of record.

6-0: .1%
5-1: 5%
4-2: 45%
3-3: 45.7%
2-4: 3%
1-5: 1.1%
0-6: .1%

The odds of Tennessee being .500 or below is nearly certain.

No one outside of Tennessee's deluded fanbase thinks they'll beat OU

11 in a row has a nice ring to it

Arkansas will manhandle Tennessee worse than they did LSU

Tennessee greatest win of the season is their annual moral victory where they almost beat UGA but fall short.

But after the Bowling Green game I am sure Tennessee fans will try to convince us all they are back, again.
