Mississippi State has played Bama more times than Auburn has. Please

Bama record against MSU - 78–18–3

That's a onesided rivalry.

The Iron Bowl, in the SEC is, was and will be the best rivalry. THere isnt anything close to that game to us. What Arkie or LSU fans think doesnt matter. This is between Bama and AU. If you havent lived it you can't understand it. You have no concept of what that game does to you.

I'd say the Iron Bowl, but you'd think LSU/Bama would be bigger than it actually is.

I mean, when was the last time two schools from the same conference AND division played each other for a national championship?

BAMA-LSU is a good game with intensity but as far as hate thats all one sided.

Call BS on the hate. Not the searing black-hearted hate of the Iron Bowl or even the Egg and Magnolia bowl but it's not one-sided. I work with a number of Gumps who all mark the LSU game second only to Auburn and have done so for more than a decade.

As far as fanbases, teams and schools hating each other equally the State-Ole Miss game is the only SEC rivalry that would compare to the Iron Bowl.

You don't really know the Reb/Tiger history if you believe that. This long-time bitter rivalry has heated up once again with the Reb's performance on the upswing in recent years.

Because their other main rival has kinda sucked during that time?

Anyone who doesnt say UT Vanderbilt is doing it wrong.

You jest and while it's certainly not big on the UT side it is on the Vandy side. Watching the UT-Vandy game in person can be an eye opening experience. Not because it's a good game per se (every now and then it is but mostly not) but because it's often the last game of the year and Vandy plays to kill, maim, and injure rather than win. I've seen meaner play and harder hits in that game than MANY other. It's often the dirtiest game of the year.

South Carolina and UGA are division foes, not rivals.

For fans of other teams that are saying Iron Bowl - would you like it if your team had a rivalry like ours? Or do you prefer to just be able to watch and enjoy the game even if it's not yoru team playing?

Agreed.
My second cousin just graduated from State in Civil Engineering.
A good buddy of mine in Jackson is a Rebel.

I've heard it from both sides...
It's nothing nice.

Alabama-Auburn is as big as it gets though.
As big as if not bigger than Michigan-tOSU,
Texas-OU, USC-UCLA, etc.
