I don't care what those stats prove. Since 2008 Saban and Bama have had the most consistently winning program in the country.

Yet in the past 5 years Alabama has only allowed 874 points, while auburn has allowed a whopping 1746, 2 points shy of TWICE as much.

Yards and points are going up across the board in recent years. Those teams did that to everyone. Overall his defensive rankings have been as solid as anyone.

West Virginia put up 500+ and Oregon mid 300's on LSUs 2011 D and I think it was pretty elite

Football started in 2013?

Noticed that as well. Alabama had good defenses in 13/14, but geez were they dominant in the years prior to that.

Would love to be in a situation where we had the number one defense in the country and then dropped to top 10. Would take it in a heartbeat.

Wrong. Alabama would have scored 80. Seriously though, be thankful we had to settle for field goals and Ellis Johnson decided to go full retard with the defensive gameplan. "Let's treat Amari Cooper like any other receiver..." Yeah, right.
good thing muschamp is there to make your defense great. oh wait, no, we scored 59 points on his team last year (and they had much better players on defense than you do this year). if he had been your DC we would have beaten you 59-44

How does this figure? If Auburn could have scored 70 they would have, because then they would have won the game. With that same reasoning with Alabama scoring 55, does that mean they could have scored 81?

Since Sabans defense is so horrible why didn't Auburn score 70?

Is it because Gus is moron and went brain dead with every red zone trip or because yards per game allowed doesn't equate to points awarded to determine victory.

Bama football is consistant - has been since CNS's been here. As a fan, there's really not much more we can ask for.
