You might be the biggest delusional moron on this board. We are supposed to believe AJ was a candidate for numerous jobs, yet he ultimately settled for what most people would consider a mediocre job. The Nets record has also improved since they fired AJ

Moral of the Story: One-trick pony schools should stick to what they know, leave respectable all-around sports programs to the rest of us.

national championship and a couple final fours made it bearable. Bama basketball is starting with Avery?
So who was that "living in the past"?

first, that title easily belongs to you. second, the nets record also improved when AJ was coach of the nets. as was said earlier, the team was 12-70 the year before he got there, and the organization was in turmoil during his entire tenure. he won 24 games his first year, and was .500 for the year when they fired him (pj carlisimo coached the rest of hte year and they were .598 for that season). jason kid was .537 the following year, and they are at .468 so far this season. so lets not act like they suddenly started winning nba championships right after AJ left. they were .146 they year before aj, .293 his first year, .333 his second year, and were .500 when he was let go (went on to .598 the rest of that season). Looks to me like he had them going in the right direction his final year and carlisimo got to benefit

oing good actually (only 2 fewer regular season wins than your precious Bert).

Didn't Kentucky win 5 games last year? That would be one fewer than Bert.

We finish ahead of Arkansas in the Directors Cup pretty much every year.
