2015 Sports: Would You Rather be Pete Carroll or Calipari

Both had historical seasons that ended in painful loses. Carroll made one of the worst end game calls in NFL history while Kentucky was poised to break the record of a hate foe (Bob Knight) only to choke it all away.
It's still early so there may be worse loses to come but so far, these are the worst of 2015.
If I had to pick between the two I would go with Cal. The way he reloads talent, I believe Kentucky will have another chance to go undefeated. However, Pete Carroll's chance of making it back to the Super Bowl are much more difficult. He may not have a chance at redemption

I would rather be successful on the pro level than college level.

Carroll had it and blew it. Cal's team just lost. Big difference.

Pete. He already won the SB. Also was successful at USC. Great coach.

pete for sure
seattle's roster is frickin awesome and if you been paying attention they do fantastic in the draft so i disagree about it being tough for the hawks to get back to a superbowl

Pete for sure.
University of Arkansas graduate assistant and elite coach on both levels.
Plus he's well liked across the nation and looks great for a 65 year old.

Easy. Where would you rather live? Seattle or Kentucky.

Easily Pete because I would be living in Seattle.

Pete Carrol. He's the best college coach of the last 20 years IMO. Yes that includes Saban and CUM

please pardon my ignorance, but what was historical about the Seahawks 2014 season?
Posted on 4/6/15 at 3:48 pm to undecided
I'm only talking in terms of their recent respective loses and how it will impact them going forward, not their entire career

As long as Carroll is running the show, the Seahawks will be in contention.

There was talk of their defense being in line with the 85 Bears and Steele Curtain. Carroll was being lauded as the best coach since Lombardi. A lot of it was media hyperbole but still

I guess we just define historical a little differently

He's definitely not well liked across the nation, pretty much overall disliked for being a scum bag college coach then ditched when shite hit the fan.

Well, injuries weren't their friend if you'll recall.
