@AaronSuttles Saban said Cam Sims needs surgery to repair injured ACL.
1) Hate to hear that about Cam Sims. Hope he recovers quickly.
2) How on Earth is Geno Smith still on the team after another DUI?
3) I have no words for what Nick Saban said about Jonathan Taylor.

Geno wouldn't be on the team if we had depth at DB. Wish it wasn't that way

yeah, which he said included psychological testing, anger management, and domestic violence counseling. It just didnt work. Saban probably should've added "...except for not beating up women."

Unless Saban is going to apologize for his part in all this then he might as well just stop talking and making it worse.

I honestly believe Saban's starting to go senile. It's like somebody did a brain transplant on him before the 4th quarter of the 2013 Iron Bowl. His defensive schemes and overall coaching have gone way downhill since that time.

Saban asked him to engage in domestic violence?

"Jonathan Taylor did everything we asked him to do."

"now in hindsight, should we have specifically asked him not to commit anymore domestic violence? Probably"

Me too. I was looking forward to seeing Cam Sims ball out this season.

I'm disappointed in his comments about Taylor. Saban had the golden opportunity to admit fault and take a stand, but he did neither. He wouldn't even say that he regrets letting Taylor in, or that he would reconsider allowing another DV case on the football team. Instead he came across as stubborn and placed all of the blame on Taylor. Nevermind that JT shouldn't have been given a second (third) chance to begin with.

Did you really expect Saban to offer an apology? He was very defensive and came across exactly how I expected. He is going to take a beating as a result of his defensive attitude toward this. He is going to get it from the national media. Most Bama fans that I have talked to view this as a big mistake and they are not siding with Saban's decision.

Nice way of distorting what he said. We should have never let Taylor in, but Alabama did all it could to rehabilitate the guy.

geno was 19 when he got his first one, which means he could have gotten that first 1 for as low as .02% bac, 1/4 of what it takes if you are 21
