Saw a deadspin article about one of your boosters turning out to be fake on twitter. If this is germans I apologize.

I've been waiting for this to get here. Every now and then I'd see her get RT'd onto my twitter feed and always thought it seemed fake.

As an unbiased observer I think they should get the death penalty for this.

Meh. Creepy as frick but I don't really care. NCAA isn't going to do anything.

Some insisted that "Analesa" was actually a product of the Ole Miss athletic department itself.

From Make It Rain Sports:
"That's what's great about Twitter. You just get a free Twitter page and all of a sudden you're an Ole Miss celebrity. Or... hated."

The term "booster" is being used very loosely in this situation

The synopsis from Acey at Make It Rain is an interesting read:

As happens in an intense sports rivalry, there is a pack mentality. If the pack senses weakness they attack faster and from all directions.
The more Analesa re-coiled from the hate and vitriol, the more Mississippi State fans chased her down.
She described to me the endless direct messages, the endless twitter mentions, the endless blog post comments saying terribly sexual and hurtful things to a young girl. I saw them, it was and still is disgusting. Grown men should have more pride than to act that way.
A lot of us defended her. I defended her because I considered her one of my own. One of the Ole Miss flock. One of the “good” guys.

But is she single?

Its weird that an Ole Miss fan stole pictures and pretended to be a hot blonde chick and interacted with players, coaches and recruits on Twitter.
Its just as weird that a Mississippi State fan site "reporter" went to a small town and tried to tack her down.
I hate it for the young lady in Georgia that had her pics stolen, but this is a non-story. Just creepy and weird.
