Has to be going into his 2nd campaign
1000yds as Frosh with 10tds
Was incredible on Kick Offs 24 returns 625yds with a TD
Top 5 Pick in the NFL Draft imo

I think with decent QB and O-line play this year we could see something special from this young man. He showed signs last season with 8 in the box and everyone in the stadium knowing he was getting the ball.

Fournette in 9 games against Power 5 conference teams only had 625 yards, 4 TDs and a 4.63 YPC.
Nothing like average less than a TD, less than 70 yards and less than 5 YPC against top teams
ETA: For reference, Jalen Hurd had more Yards, YPG, YPC against Power 5 teams than Fournette

Not even considering the fact that no Running Back has been taken in the top 5 since Trent Richardson fricked things up for everyone back in 2012, no Fournette is not a top 5 pick. If Melvin Gordon or Gurley aren't going top 5, Buga definitely isn't.

You can probably change the thread title to "Is there a better underclassman in the SEC West than Buga?"
I can't think of any other freshman contributors last season that had his impact.
