re: ESPN Doubling Down on Mel Kiper?

Sounds like he’s doing a good job for them lol. These niche positions aren’t really talked about and he has everybody up in arms right now based on threads like this and site clicks.

And fyi, I got tired of the slob fest also.

I'm sure the team would love to be called out in the media for not starting him day 1.

There is no evidence of this. You are just making things up right now.

Dillon Gabriel was a wasted pick?

Let the dudes compete. They are desperate for a qb.

I’ve said I thought Rattler was not good in college

Then your posts doesn’t make any sense because only 1 has played in the pros. We can only compare the college tape and resumes.

but he flashed and you can see the physical potential.

Might as well have asked TJ Finley to enter the draft if that’s all it takes.

If I’m taking a mid to late round QB project I’m not taking the one without a ton of baggage.

If you take a late round qb, you take the guy who produced but dropped because of other things. Either lack of height, lack of arm strength, off field issues. The big arm and terrible guys never work out with these late picks. The Minshews/Purdys of the world at least become serviceable.

If you don't think Deion wouldn't be involved in some way you are crazy.

He has no say or leverage.
quote:

Why would you want more backup QBs?

Because we are desperate at the qb position. We need to keep drafting them until we find our guy.

San Fran had Purdy and Lance in at the same time, sometimes the latter round guy can surprise you. We have a lot of picks today I believe, if there is one we like it’s not the worst thing in the world to bring another guy in and let him compete.

I’m taking Rattler 10 times out of 10 over Sanders

Based on what? Rattler has been average to mediocre everywhere he has been. He was on loaded Oklahoma teams compared to the teams he played in the Big 12 and stunk. Just say you didn’t watch Rattler in college and leave it at that.
quote:

Apparently the teams that haven't drafted him yet. They don't want to hear it.

All indications are the issue are Shedeurs interviews and his arrogance. The Deion talk seems more of a social media thing.
quote:

Has a team ever taken 2 QBs in the same draft? That seems unprecedented

Yes, RG3 and Cousins because all the Saints fans are talking about it on Twitter.
Who gives a frick what Deion has to say.
quote:

This would be idiotic from a team perspective. It would bring a total circus

It really wouldn’t. Colorado wasn’t talked about nearly as much as you are thinking during the season on the major networks after the first couple of weeks.

5th round on take the best player available and let them compete for a roster spot. If he isn’t up to par then cut him.
The pick was horrible on paper. All I can hope for is Moore is some qb savant that sees a qb that can offer immediate returns.

Are you trying to turn this around on me and say that I’m racist for calling out racism?

I guess I’ll help you out since you seem a little slow.

No, I’m saying you brought it to a place where you already knew the answer. You just wanted to validate your opinion with like minded individuals. You could have easily had the discussion on Facebook.

Why didn’t you make this post on Facebook? You brought it here for an obvious reason.

dj30 gonna race bait lol

If I wanted to race bait, I would have done it already.

He’s not good

ESPN just posted a stat that he led the nation with a 80% completion percentage when not pressured. I can’t speak on his NFL abilities, but he was a good college qb.
