Alright, yea, time to remove Equestrian from these lists. There are 18 Division 1 equestrian schools. GTFO with that counting the same as any other sport title.
An Alabama fan talking about the validity of a title. That's rich!

I'm not saying it isn't valid. I'm saying that when the entire population of teams in the sport can't even create a Top 25 it seems like "national" champion is a bit of a stretch.

Try to interject a little class and dignity into a gump's world, and this is the kind of shite post we should always expect to get.
Equestrian is the most royal, regal, honorable and pure of all college sports - the SEC dominates, and the fricking gump doesn't want it to count.
Just amazing. Absolutely pathetic.
I'll bet you scratched your nuts through your yellow stained underwear and spit into your spit cup while you were typing that, did you not? Probably picked a bugger and looked at it and thought about eating it to0.
Nevermind ... you did.

Well the SEC makes up almost 25% of the entire division so I would hope we dominate.
Hopefully you guys keep competing at it when the NCAA drops it next season.

Gymnastics counts
Equestrian shouldn't.
Don't worry though you're still ahead of Ole Miss because they dont have 3 NC's in football.

The list is shite.... no way to uniformly count NC, giving Ole Miss and TAMU 3 football Natties is a joke... Same with Bama's 15 (really counting 1941).
Not to start that topic back up, but here you go....Bama has 14, Auburn 3, Ole Miss 2, TAMU 2....

Equestrian has never been a NCAA-sponsored championship.
It is listed as an emerging sport but is scheduled to lose that designation. The NCEA is working to reverse that recommendation, but I agree it seems unlikely to stay on the list.

Terrible for a program of our size and resources. The only FBS university in a state of 6 million, 35,000 students, and only 2 national championships ever.

The whole equestrian thing is a tad sketchy, but I guess it counts. The NCAA is about to remove it. There are only 23 schools that even participate.
We're still ahead of Florida without the equestrian titles.

Oh yea, UGA has great athletics with or without equestrian.

Disc Golf, which even though it's only a club team, trumps all sports with the exception of football and men's basketball.
I make an obscene amount of money selling disc golf supplies online. When I was approached with the idea, I thought it was dumb as hell. Now, I love disc golfers. It has got to be the #1 sport in the Kansas City area.
