Anderson hasn't been very good this season apparently.

Hopefully he finds a good fit.

This isn't THAT surprising. I imagine a lot of offensive guys wanted to play for an offensive minded HC in richt, so now want to look elsewhere.

On the flip side, I bet we make major strides with guys on defense now that we have Kirby, which we've already started seeing in the past few weeks.

I know..I just asked if we thought it was due to Lily, MacClendon, etc possibly leaving or if it has something to do with Chaney?

Jacob Eason's dad finally did an interview and told Rusty they will announce soon. He basically just went thru the reason they took the trip and the reason they looked at Florida and that they wanted to meet Kirby and get to know him. He didn't tip his hand on which way they are leaning but the 247 users are kinda freaking out that Jacob didn't wear UGA gear on his trip. . His dad was wearing a UGA hoody and a UGA jacket so people are way over thinking it. If Ben Cleveland believes he's a Dawg then I do as well.

Those guys on 247 are gonna need to be loaded with xanax until Eason makes his decision. Pretty sure there were at least 11 confirmed heart attacks from Rusty's click bait on the QB decommitment

Haha since he didn't come right out and say it would be Georgia, of course everyone on 247 is taking it to be terrible news. Did they really think his dad would come out and take the spotlight and let people know where his son is going?

Not enough chill pills to go around over there.

.

People take this shite way to serious. If we don't get Eason I have faith we would find a solid QB or 2 from somewhere in Georgia. Not that you can replace a guy that good but at the same time it's not something you can control.

As do Godwin, Hardman, and others.

The 247 crowd reminds me of a room full of chinchillas. I picture them all sitting in a room together shaking and at the first event that startles them, half die of a heart attack and the other half's fur falls out.

Ninjas need to chill.

I mean you never know with teenagers but I would love for him to reaffirm, then sign the papers after blitzing the Army game in Jan. That would be icing on the cake to all of these irrational fans/bloggers from Gainesville. If you get bored take 5 mins and search Eason decommit on twitter. Jeez..it's like reading the lowest common denominator rise up from the primordial ooze to talk a bunch of $hit by way of social media.

UGA offers Eason three advantages--early play, class relationships and college environment.

Florida offers stronger offensive coaching.

We are far from a lock. No one expects the Spanish inquisition.

Regardless of Eason's decision I feel pretty confident Kirby will want to bring in 2 QB's for 2016. Especially with us not bringing in a QB in last years cycle. With Bauta transferring we are left with

Ramsey (1st string Punter)
Nick Robinson (Preferred walk-on)

It's a no brainer. Kirby coming from Bama knows how to manage a roster. I think we take 2 QB's and a grad transfer this cycle.

Agreed. I hate to say it, but if I were Eason, I wouldn't come here right now. There's too much uncertainty, Florida is a better option for him.

And at Florida there are two returning starters on a division championship team and two incoming QBs already committed.

Uncertainty? I mean I know we got a new coach but we didn't hire some no-name arse-wad from D3...we hired a proven, longterm DC who has under studied one of the greatest CFB coaches ever. While there is a level of uncertainty...we are UGA and we will always have talent/coaches to fix most issues.

That staff at Florida has onl;y been in place 1 year and won the East in a year where prob Duke would have been in the top 2 teams.

I get that, but he already has a relationship with Nussmeier so he'd have a leg up on the competition. I'd love to have him here, I'm just trying to look at it objectively.
