What does Auburn do next year with a Pocket Passer?

JJ doesn't have the legs of Nick Marshall, and NM's legs are Auburns Offense. This isn't a Troll. Without tricky handoff bullchit, what's Auburns O gonna do? Best 2 receivers Gone too.

We will pass the ball more. I look for more of a 2009 offense with some zone read
JJ is a pocket passer but he can run the zone read as well.
Gus has changed his offense a number of times
And we have plenty of receivers

I'm sure UGA will have a DB kicked off the team before then

JJ can run bro. Think Cam in terms of size and running you over, but less agility and acceleration.
Not that it matters, Gus had a top 15 offense in 2009 with Chris Todd who didn't have the mobility to drop back.

what makes you think he's a pocket passer?

shite, I sure hope Gus thought of this before recruiting all these pocket passing QB's. Geez man we are so screwed if not.

Auburn fans will say "throw it more, duh," like they think one year they can be an elite run team and the very next put up 50 per game throwing it all over the yard.
Gus is good at tweaking his offense though. And I'm sure JJ can the read option at least a little bit.

So much sarcastic and smug comments already. Why do y'all get so defensive about this?

Our offense will be more explosive.

Do something similar to the multiple seasons that he hasn't had a running QB.

We've completely transformed our offense in one year before under Gus.

Not really defensive, just tired of explaining the same thing over and over again on this board.

Throw deep every play, score 60 a game, lose 80-60.

I doubt this will happen but next year would actually be Malzahn's best offense on paper if Duke and Sammie Coates both come back. Jovon Robinson will certainly be the most highly regarded Auburn has during Malzahn's time as head coach. We basically have two starting offensive lineman sitting out this year to go along with the 3 returning guys who actually did play this year

Diarrhea is explosive too. Auburn should be pretty deep at WR I would think.

Gus is underrated in terms of not being one dimensional from season to season, I know. It's just I knew what type of answers the OP would get.
