Nine players drafted, most of any school, in the 2014 draft
LSU Players in the 2014 NFL Draft
Round (Pick) Team - Player, Pos.
1 (12) Giants - Odell Beckham Jr., WR
2 (51) Bears - Ego Ferguson, DT
2 (55) Bengals - Jeremy Hill, RB
2 (63) Dolphins (from Broncos through 49ers) - Jarvis Landry, WR
3 (92) Panthers - Trai Turner, OG
5 (156) Broncos (From Bears) - Lamin Barrow, OLB
6 (178) Titans (From Redskins) - Zach Mettenberger, QB
6 (181) Texans (From Raiders) - Alfred Blue, RB
7 (239) Bengals - James Wright, WR
The players below are already standing out and are serious Rookie of the Year candidates. Looking at it how did LSU not win a natty and have one of the most high powered offenses in the country last year?

Not enough chest.

A&M has never finished as sole owner of even 2nd place in the west. Even Houston did that at OM.

Bad defenses will keep you from winning ball games. You should know this

Yes in 2008 his first year at OM.

When you said "Houston did that" I thought you were talking about the school

Wow.. They couldn't win with that squad. The decline is confirmed.

None of those guys are serious rookie of the year candidates.

Notice only 2 of the 9 were defensive players? In the 3 losses
UGA: 44 points 494 yards
OM: 27 points 525 yards (11-18 on 3rd down)
Bama: 38 points 372 yards
The defense was garbage last year. Especially on the road.

Beckham has 4 to 1 odds and Hill has 6 to 1 odds.

Scheduling, refs, and the location of the SEC offices.

Amazing what potential can be unlocked when they leave LSU. It's really too bad for your football program that these guys can't develop while in Baton Rouge
