Just saw that on SC. Thought Tiger Stadium at night was some magical place?

Their losses to teams at night have all been to teams ranked (or ended up ranked) in the top 3.

OM is #3.

Might as well not even play it.

Really? Alabama 2012 is the last one I can remember them not being favored in.

And seriously, when was the third time they were a home underdog?

2012 vs. Alabama
2009 vs. Florida

When else? 2008 Alabama was a day game.

3 seems like a sufficient sample.

LSU went from Nov. 16, 2002 to Oct. 10, 2009 without losing at home on a Saturday night.

That's pretty cool. Of course, most of their tough games were during the day in that time period, considering LSU and Florida were the darlings of CBS at the time. But still, we played some tough teams at night, too.

Counting the Florida game in 2009, we've lost three since then. That's not cool.

3rd was the Tennessee game after Katrina. Les's first game in Death Valley. Up 21-0 at the half and lost in OT.

Here is another fun fact. LSU hasn't lost at home to anyone other than the the National Champion since 2008.

However the last team to do it and not win a national championship was Ole Miss.

Should be interesting. I think the Home crowd can make a difference in a game like this.
