When Fran was coach they had these shirts that said Alabama football is Frantastic.
As a student I thought they were the absolute gayest thing anybody had ever created.
Not quite a nickname exactly, but still goes to show you how cheesy marketing can be.

Prior to entering the NFL, Davenport allegedly broke into the dorm room of a Barry University woman and defecated in a laundry basket on April 1, 2002.[6] A woman sleeping in the room told police she was startled by a strange grunting sound and saw Davenport squatting in her closet.[7] In a plea bargain, his felony charge of second-degree burglary and misdemeanor count of criminal mischief were dropped in exchange for his completing 100 hours of community service.
During his career, Davenport was given the nicknames "Dookie" and "The Dump Truck."

I think you've hit upon the real issue some people have with him picking "Trill" out as his favorite nickname among the many fans have tried to tag him with.

Kenny Trill has got to be the worst. 1 start, he gave himself the nickname and then had it trademarked. Oh and its stupid.
