What would it take for Kiffin to get fired mid-season, i.e., how many games would Bama have to lose due to lackluster Offense before Saban would fire him?
My guess is four (4).

You so dumb. The last time Bama lost four regular season games was 2007.

Only if they started SEC play 0-3 would it be even remotely possible and that's not going to happen.

What's the over under on Gus Malzahn? Think I am kidding? Gene Chizik was the toast of the Auburn Nation after winning the BCS, and they turned on him and got him gone. So there is precedent. Tubby was safe as long as he could wave those fingers in the Alabama fans face, but when they lost ONE TIME...Tater Tot coaches an undefeated team, then they turned on him in a second. The Barners are notorious bandwagon riders.
Right now Gus is a hero. Let him lose a couple of games and get beat in Tuscaloosa and we will see what tune they sing then.

Answer the question. I backed it up with facts.

The pictures were funny as balls. The comments so far are spot on; we all love winners. And those that can't cut it have to move on down the road. It's amazing, however, that after the shite-show Shula put on a few years back, that some can't even conceptualize that Bama might lose a few one day.
For the record, my question was an 60% honest inquiry; 40% troll......... Okay, maybe the other way around.

Undefeated in 1993, fired in 1998.

Credit for being honest about it LOL

Seems like Bama OCs usually last 2-3 years. I'd be shocked if he were sent away any quicker, especially after going 15-0.

And you griped about him for three years.
Posted on 7/28/14 at 10:36 am to NoHuddle
Have you seen Bamas schedule?

I did?
I griped about Terry Bowden for three years in the mid 90s?

Saban's got Kiffin on a choke collar ~ he will run Nick Saban's offense and he will be allowed to throw in a wrinkle or two of his own.
I expect to see this offense use the TE a lot more that we've seen the past couple of years. I expect Kiffin to not be so predictable with his play calls - but Saban has enough control over the entire program that he will not allow any coach run wild to the detriment of wins or loses. JMHO
