2014 will be Bo Wallace's year

Bo Wallace has shown glimpses of greatness the past two seasons with a rebuilding roster around him. There is more depth on the offensive side of the ball since he has been in Oxford. This is his third year in Hugh's system. The schedule is difficult but most of the tough games are at home. His play two years ago in Tiger Stadium shows their environment will not hinder his ability to move the ball and score points. He has made mistakes at times, especially at late points in the game ('13 Egg Bowl, '12 Vandy & TAMU) but he has also put up some big numbers and thrived at key points in the season ('13 Texas, Vandy, LSU; '12 Egg Bowl).
Eli Manning came in his sophomore year and showed greatness at the beginning of his year, but sputtered at times to consistently move the ball down the field. His senior year in 2003 was where he cemented his legacy as one of the all-time great SEC quarterbacks and a franchise building starter worthy of a 1st pick overall in the NFL Draft. With the weapons around him, an improved defense to limit his need to force plays and be more patient with his decision making, I believe Bo will do the same this fall.

This would be a great post for the OM board.

I got a good look at bo last year. I saw what looked to be a punk who gets emotional on the field when he is losing. inconsistent and juvenile. other than that , he got a chance.

Lost starting RB and one of the best receivers in the league. Very thin OL. More depth where exactly?

Bo is smart (or has good awareness) and seems to make good decisions on the fly. Freeze's offense seems to take advantage of that.
Since Bo's arm should be better, OM may open up/throw deep more or call more 'planned' pass plays. That may work against OM, especially if the OL can't protect him long enough.
Bo had a good year last season (3346/18 TDs/10 INTs), so I don't see Bo passing for much more than he did last year. Maybe a few more passing TDs, but I think OM has a big back now and some of those short TD's Bo had will go to that guy. Somehow I don't see Bo throwing fewer interceptions--2013 was already a big improvement on 2012's 17.

I'm a Jennings fan.
But
Harris potential> Bo

Agreed, but I'm okay with Bo, which is weird because I used to hate him more than I currently hate Korvic Neat.
Bo has been one hell of a QB for what Ole Miss thought we were getting. He's really developed a lot. He really only had awful games against MSU(just never looked comfortable after Tunsil went down on our third drive) and Bama. MSU, he still had a chance to win, but Whitley made a great(slightly lucky) play. Nothing Bo could have really done on that play. Bama, he played like shite, but did fairly good for the circumstances. No turnovers in that game was a slight moral victory for him.

Our OL is very thin. Lost lots of depth, but is much better than last season. Injury-free and our OL will be one of better ones in a while. I hate losing Jeff Scott, but that won't do an inch of damage to our production. Walton is a better Scott to be honest.

Is greatness at Ole Miss the same as greatness everywhere else? Or is kinda like how the Amish keep score in bowling?

Bo Wallace did horrendous against Mizzou, and I didn't watch any other Ole Miss game, to be honest.
So I don't see Bo doing that well at all.

You're right. Both did bend LSU over and went in dry every time they played LSU

I think you meant to type Jevan Snead 2-0 vs. LSU.

You better hope he gets better. I watched the last year's egg bowl last night and he looks awful. and yes I know it was only one game.
