You dont understand man, we currently have Gainesville, Fl as our east team. I would trade every other year in Gainesville for every single year in Athens. Case closed.

Pretty positive that this rumor was going on long before tickets were available for sale. UGA sells theirs way before ours go on sale.

Not sure what you mean. Everything I've read about it states clearly that UT returned tickets, so we put them on sell. It's not a rumor.

My guess is most decided to make a trip to Norman and took off one of their normal SEC trips.
Makes a lotta sense & y'all get 8500 tix... It's not like you get 5k & sent 2500 back. The e-mail said a limited amount so I'm guessing around 500-750(traveling party, band parents, unused player tix, etc...)...

But we can't allow a chance to bust your chops on the SECRant go by unnoticed now can we??

It's not a rumor. It's a fact. Geez, Baghdad Bob's got nothing on the vol fan base. Truly amazing.

Never change.

What I'm saying is I heard this weeks ago, UGA's tix were already on sale for UGA fans but UT wasn't selling tickets yet. I don't know if it's a rehash of that or what. I'd really be surprised if the returns were substantial (maybe the student section?) but I could be wrong. Athens is a great game to travel to.

Oh wait.... I think I just figured it out. We play you after Oklahoma and we like to travel. Fans will save up for that road game and unfortunately that means some will skip the UGA game because Norman is such big trip - $$$ plus days off.

ETA: Bri got to it before me. But going to Norman makes sense. I believe travel to UF suffered a bit because it was after the trip to Oregon.

Your theory has been debunked and you're continuing to spread it? Kind of ridiculous, no?

Our season tix were sold out on March 15th when ticket orders were due. Anyone who didn't have a cumulative Hartman fund score of $1001.00 didn't get season tix. That's an increase from last year where anyone who ordered renewable season tix ($250 donation per seat) recieved tix & we sold single (no 2 together) non-renewable season tix (no donation required) to sell out last year...

I have posted no theories in this thread. However, I get that the horror of the last 5-6 has somehow wiped vol brains of the harsh realities of current life.

We'll just call it "the eternal sunshine of the spotless vol mind" and leave it at that.

Your fellow UGA fan sums it up here. So, you're pretty much just a shitty troll

He said the same thing I did with more details. UTK sent tickets back to UGA that they couldn't sell to their fans.

There are certainly excuses for it, but no good ones.

I'm sure our "limited" returned seats in mid July will go to great use.

Don't bank on it. Otherwise, please continue bashing Tennessee fans and Tennessee fans continue to bash Georgia fans. I love to see rednecks brutalize one another.
