More likely just someone who can't afford it.

Please sell your house in the Panhandle. You are one of the reasons it's so maddening to go there.

Some sort of ceremonial jiz-jar-rain-dance?

Help please.
Are all schools creepily tormented by Arkansas fans, or is Texas A&M University the only target?

Lol it rustled you so hard you had to post here?
At least they didn't want to talk football and have pity on you. After last season I would expect being treated like a real rival is much better.

When we joined the SEC we started a new tradition of hissing at fans of schools that went winless in conference play the previous year. Sorry :-( tradition is tradition

Did they put their hands together like in Charlie's Angels when they make the "hand" gun? Did they yell "WHOOOP" while leaning back a little with one foot up in the air?
If not, T-shirt fans. Don't worry about them.

From the Texas A&M traditions archive:
quote:
Texas A&M's tradition of hissing (or alternatively, air being let out of the tires) began in week 3 of the 1958 football season. That week's opposing team, Texas Southern University, did not arrive to Kyle Field on time for the game as their bus collapsed en route to College Station. That was presumably due to the immense weight of their head coach, Arty Johnson, who was so obese that the team had to roll him on to the back of the bus.
Since that game, A&M supporters began hissing at the supporters of opposing schools who have an obese head coach. This tradition famously became headline news before Texas A&M's 2004 match up versus the University of Kansas. KU head coach Mark Mangino became irate upon being hissed at by Texas A&M supporters at the local Golden Corral after his sixth visit to the buffet. Mangino was briefly detained by police after throwing a salisbury steak at a 43 year old woman, however, he was quickly released. Unlike Johnson, Mangino made it to the next day's game.

that is odd. my only experience with a whole passel of ags was on a flight into lr. i was surrounded by a hubby wife and their 4 sons. 2 in front, 2 in back and 2 across. they were ok, the boys kind of annoying but probably no more so than other kids- except for the one who said 'ar-kansas'. he i wanted to wallop.

Aggies are notoriously gay and probably never got over Arkansas dominance of the SWC while they were there.

OP was too scared to ask the Aggie family what they were doing?
Sounds right. If it ain't their sister, they run.
