I'd imagine because it's in New Orleans.

This. Baton Rouge is a shitty party town by comparison. Then again, everything is a shitty party town when compared to New Orleans. LSU has way hotter coeds, though. Tulane has too many frumpy girls from the northeast who couldn't get into the Ivy League.

Been posted before.
I guess Tulane has the whole New Orleans thing going for it.
Oh and in case anyone else on here was wondering, Tulane is ranked higher than all SEC schools except for UGA and UF.
This was an online poll and there is a master list.

So before you guys get all high and mighty, remember, unless you are UGA or UF, Tulane also outranks you.
As a matter of fact, James Madison University and Rutgers both outrank all of you too.
Oh, and OP, I think you are an Auburn fan right? If so, ya'll are behind LSU and other great schools such as Virginia Commonwealth, Trinity College, Kent State, Cornell, and the University of New Hampshire.

I figured the DKEs in Baton Rouge were bigger partiers than Tulane.

Going by this article, LSU and SCAR are actually the SEC country club. The others mentioned didn't even make the list.

LSU used to regularly top these lists, but we aren't really considered for it anymore. The LSU administration made it clear that they didn't want LSU high on any such lists. They may have even threatened legal action. It may have started after those 2 alcohol-related frat deaths.

FWIW, according to their retiring A.D's own comments, tulane's student body is comprised of 75-80% out of staters. And tulane is at least twice as expensive. So, you are not really comparing apples to apples, as the make up of the respective student bodies has nothing in common whatsoever.

Definitely true. The LSU party scene has gone downhill the past 10 or so years.
