Another one for Alabama is the movie "Crimson Tide" and the numerous references to Alabama (outside of the title)

After Lisa begs her father to send her to preparatory school, Homer replies: “When it’s time for college, I promise, my darling daughter, to send you to the finest college there is (long pause) in South Carolina.”
“I will not be a Gamecock!” Lisa exclaims as she grips the preparatory school’s fence.
“You will, too!” Homer replies.

The old sitcom Unhappily Ever After had Auburn items scattered around - most memorable was an AU fans only parking sign on the basement wall.
Hart of Dixie has had a couple of Auburn football references - specifically the Kick Six and the BCSCG with FSU, but that may not be as random, considering the show is set in south Alabama and some of the characters are suypposed to be Auburn alums.

Not that random, but the book/movie/Broadway musical Big Fish had references to Auburn.
There is an episode of mad men that mentions
the cotton bowl between Texas a&m and the crimson tide in the late 60s

Alabama reference in 1938 Oscar winning movie with Jimmie Stewart and Lionel Barrymore called "You Can't take it with You".
One of the players had played football for Alabama and there are Alabama banners in the room.

I love Steely Dan, but the song Deacon Blue lost a little of its luster when I read what the band actually thought about Alabama.

I am a HUGE Steely Dan fan. It's a back handed compliment. The lyric meant something along the lines of yeah Alabama (the football team) is great and everything but how dare these crackers from Alabama (his words) use such a grandiose term. When I lose I want to be called Deacon Blues.

John Oates of Hall and Oates seems to be a Bama fan.
