Wish I would have sold then. I don't see a drastic increase coming anytime soon and thought this pop on the election would be temporary. I am just finishing construction on a home. This will cover all my furniture and give me a nice cushion. I still have half of my shares too.
Although now that I think about it I did sell half my shares somewhere close to the all time high in 2021 but then I bought the same number of shares a few months later. Made a nice little profit then to pay off the land I just built on as well as cover my initial investment.

Long term $357 is still a steal. Tesla is so far ahead of everyone else it's kinda sad.
Adjusting for the splits this would have been buying in right at $20 a share. I was downvoted pretty hard for this. But opinions on Elon now are 180 from what there were in 2019 on this board.
I bought all my shares in early 2018 at an average cost of $16 in todays numbers. Just sold half today at $285.
I'll hold on to what I have and see if Elon cracks AI.

I think the most dangerous part is the entry burn that happens around 10ish. Thats when the thrusters that were overheating and malfunctioning will be lit.
The original plan would have them burning for 7 minutes, but they have adjusted the mission profile so they should only have to burn for 1 minute. (maybe thats why it is taking so long?)

I’d be curious to see how the milestones are laid out in the contract. It’s possible Boeing has another big loss waiting to be revealed if/when some or all of their operational missions are cancelled.
it will be a major loss for them. there are rumors that nasa would hire them to deliver cargo (not humans) at a heavily inflated cost so they can try and recover some financially. So screw the taxpayer I guess.

The major issues they are having are in the trunk of the vehicle. The trunk is detached and burns up in the atmosphere and is destroyed. That is one of the reasons they have waited so long because they know they can't do any test later. Most likely the would have to a redesign that would 1 would take them over a year to redesign and 2 require another test flight.
They do not have enough vehicles to do another test flight as they buy them from ULA and the remaining rocket boosters are spoken for.
This will be the end of the starliner program unless the ISS remains longer without being decommissioned

Ooooooh. Fun thought, but Firecracker would have to pump because she's a super too.
They somewhat allude to that in the last episode. Homeland drinks it from a cup and looks at Firecracker and says "Cilantro?"
But the virus was going to immediately kill Kimiko before her leg was cut off. There is no way Firecracker would survive long enough to get in her system to do it.

I've been holding shares( now 600) since 2018. I've seen 80k swings in both directions so many times it doesn't really phase me anymore. I'm happy arse long as it's over $200, would probably cash out for good if it crosses a bit over 400 for good if it ever does.

I'm sole owner in my business. I have a salary, but most of my income comes from drawing from profits.
I just realized as I was getting my tax stuff together that the estimated tax checks I mailed every quarter were never deposited (well state was but not federal). Thankfully I don't ever spend any money and still have it, but I think I am about to have to write a 45k check :wah:
