No, you're The Sandman. The Dark Knight is a fictional construct of heroism in a fictional city. You are the real - but not really real - hero of an existing internet message board. You owe it to yourself to get your own title right.

Much respect for parents like that.

Well... I care. Maybe I wouldn't if people speaking up like this was more commonplace. Good on the guy.

Well if a certain UGA fan hadn't tried to use a UGA player's parent as evidence that Richt isn't responsible for his players constantly getting in trouble this thread wouldn't exist.
and so goes the archaic idea of personal responsibility

The aubies sure are mad. Guys, it is just a UGA parent. No big deal.

Tough world out there. Got to look out for yourself, because no one else is going to.
Once UGA decided tray was better off leaving, it became time for tray to decide where and how he could best help himself.
Just the way life works.
People (outside of close family and REALLY good friends) are always going to be interested in what you can do for them above all else. That lady and Uga fans were interested in what tray could do for them. Now that he is gone, they aren't and Aubies are.

The parents speaking out are proud of their university and quite frankly Matthews sounded like someone who hasn't learned his lesson yet. If the roles were reversed I'd be glad to hear the quotes as well. If Matthews doesn't represent himself in that fashion = there is no quote from parents IMO.
But
Because he didn't instantly change everything about some of his current problems doesn't mean anything because he hasn't had a chance at AU yet. Hopefully the guy lives up to his potential.

How does he run his system? How does Gus run his? What's the difference?

Georgia Bulldogs are the epitome of human trash.

I don't fault UGA - the kid didn't adjust. I also don't fault AU - he may adjust in a different setting. Coaches fail and get picked up all the time by other schools - why should the same not apply for a player?
Who knows what these kids are being told during recruiting cycles?
Whining like this dad is doing is silly. Almost embarrassing.
Also - one player leaving is different than several. Take each instance for what it is but Richt definitely has some things to deal with.

Look at the situations.
JHC: dismissed because he smoked too much pot. Something a lot of programs simply look the other way on.
Wiggins: didn't want to work. Plain and simple. Didn't like the way Pruitt coached and Pruitt didn't care for his attitude or work ethic. See ya.
Tray: arrested earlier this spring. Most fans gave him a 50/50 shot to make it to Labor Day. Not surprising that he was dismissed. Had a ton of talent but had a SERIOUS attitude problem. The incident with the professor was the last straw and was extremely telling. Kid has no humility and no respect. JUCO would have been better for him.
In summary, you can't make a blanket statement when all the situations are different. What it really looks like is we rid ourselves of some talent, sure. But we also got rid of guys who weren't bought in to what we were doing. I'd rather have guys that are completely invested in the program and not about themselves, which each of these kids are.

This is the SECRant and blanket statements are required.
