They had injuries to their O Line and that will be most likely different this year.
And QB, WR, DT, DE, LB, and another QB and so on and so forth.

In only 3 years of the last 9 have they been an "easy out," so to speak. That's historically good for them. Similarly, OM has been an easy win 3 of the last 9 years. I don't consider OM a bad program over the last decade.

Yes but the O Line troubles killed you guys last year. Led to countless 3 and outs that overworked your D. Florida's D last year was elite even with being overworked. I'm convinced the Gators will be a juggernaut with a good O Line and decent QB.
That would change the entire complexion of your team, IMO.

QB, RB and OL were the biggest losses. Losing Easley took away the heart and soul of the D too.
Oh well, it's a new year. I'm looking forward to the rebound.

The east was down. Enjoy going 7-5 next season.
It really amazes me you ignorant fricks keep trotting out this narrative. I understand education is weak in some parts of the south but do a little research or something.
Dont let that stop this bull shite narrative. East had #4,#5 and #24 ranked teams.
Lets look at the facts:
SEC East ranked teams per year:
1992: 8,10,12
1993: 5,12
1994: 7,22
1995: 2,3
1996: 1,9
1997: 4,10,7
1998: 1,5,14
1999: 12,9,16
2000: 10,19,20
2001: 4,3,13,22
2002: 3
2003: 7,15,24
2004: 13,7
2005: 10,12
2006: 1,25,23
2007: 2,12,13
2008: 1,13
2009: 3
2010: 22
2011: 9,19
2012: 5,9,8,23
2013: 5,4,24

South Carolina was the best team in the division last year. Ya'll have had piss poor luck the last few years in regards to losing winnable games and the schedule, etc.
I disagree with that.
Mizzou was the best team from the East.
They had the best running game from the East.
And they also posed a lot of unique challenges (size in the receiving corps, ability to pressure a QB with a 4 man pass rush, DBs who capitalized on early leads and desperate opponents).
They earned it.
I'm sure that they know it's a, "what have you done for me lately," division/conference.
That health bug has a way of making its rounds.

But for UF, when have they ever been up?

I approve of this thread.

Did you forget to switch accounts on the first page or were you having an argument with yourself?

Was telling everyone to suck my balls before the haters opened up.
It was a strategic post. No alter here.

The East is down and has been down. When UT finally makes it back, as well as UF, it will be back.

More like whenever any East team wins the SEC it won't be down. It doesn't HAVE to be Florida or Tennessee to not be down.
It probably will be one of those two, but regardless

East vs west record would be better measuring stick. There is a reason Auburn wants to move east, and it's not due to better competition. Think FSU joining ACC for perspective.

Florida went 4-8
Georgia suffered major key injuries
Tennessee went 5-7
So yes the East is down

Tennessee went 5-7
So yes the East is down

So let me understand this line of thinking. As long as a team wins the SEC from the East then it isn't down.
So if a team is the only ranked team in the entire division and it wins the SEC the east isn't down.
No one looking at this logically would agree with this.
The problem is that its Mizzou and South Carolina 2013 season was the first time in over 10 years that two teams from the East finished top 5 in the country.
