mizzou matches up fine with LSU, even better with bama. We don't match up well with run offenses like auburn

If you don't score then you won't win though. LSU is really the only team that has figured out a way to deal with the spread and contain a scrambling quarterback at the same time.

Two teams does not make a strong east. Period.

You all are all over the place and the hypocrisy is outstanding.

Had that been UF and UGA both top 5 in the country this conversation wouldnt be happening.

I agree with the part about matching up with Bama better but we tend to eat spread teams for breakfast with ole miss as about the only outlier I can recall.

That still doesn't make a strong east. If it were Mizzou, SC, UF, and UGA now that would be a strong east. How is two teams out of seven considered strong to you?

Either join a division in a down year like you did or pay some big money to get good players like we did?

Go back in this thread and look at the list of teams by year ranked in the East. Its not really difficult when you have the large of a sample size.

The 2013 East want the best its ever been but its in the top 1/3 1/4 in its history.

Some of you will never accept teams like South Carolina and Mizzou representing strength in the East. Thats the bottom line. The counter argument is running in circles in this thread trying to justify the illogical.

Hell, I considered the west as being somewhat down last season and we still had the usual suspects in the mix.
