I accept evolution. It's easier to swallow than some instantaneous form of perfect creation.
Look at what we share with primates. Look at how we are evolving even today--getting taller, etc.
And I don't think this contradicts theology necessarily. The whole process--life itself--is pretty damn miraculous.

This, evolution doesn't disprove God or the idea that some divine existence was involved in creation. It might dispute very specific ideas of God, but not the concept itself.
And you wont find any scientist who denies the wonder of evolution. It is a truly amazing process, far more incredible than any singular act of creation could ever be.

I believe in God.
I believe in evolution.
Take that both sides of the debate.

quote:Or as my virology GA would always say when someone referred to them as living, "They have no souls Johnny. Consider viruses the gingers of the micro-community"
As a side, viruses aren't technically applicable as they aren't living organisms. Viruses mutate, they don't evolve.

Good for you
I always appreciate theists who think for themselves.

I waffle.
Sometimes I think "God" is that big gap we reserve for the things we do not yet (and probably will never) understand.
