For a group of people that seems to always be complaining about freedom of speech and liberals orchestrating witch hunts when people say things they don't like, you guys seem awfully riled up over a company for not saying anything at all.

Google is headquartered in one of the most liberal states in the country. No surprise here.

You ain't Google dude. This is a national holiday, recognized by most companies big and small. It's important to our national culture. The US and what it stands for are the reason companies like Google can be started and be successful. By itself, no, what Google conspicuously chose to ignore isn't anything to get riled about. But like it was said, they have a history of this.
Jesus this thread.
If you would have read the same stupid article in the OT lounge then you would've seen that Google goes above and beyond when it comes to supporting our troops.

But of course you don't care, since all of us liberals hate America.

Dumb thread is dumb.
Also: doesn't Bing ALWAYS have some kind of image in the background?
Also: OP is a damn fascist.

What classifies this as a major war and GWOT not one?

For sure. If we're going to start classifying wars, the Gulf War has a lot more in common with Vietnam than the GWOT, why not include the Gulf War?

Seriously? You even surprised? I doubt there's an employee at Google that was alive during our last major war (Vietnam). Hell, there may not even be one that was alive during the Gulf War.
As opposed to bing. Excellent point.

I seriously doubt anybody was alive during...
OUR = USA
MAJOR = engaging high percentage of US population in uniform
WAR = high casualties
* 2% of population was killed (6 - 7 million in todays population)
* Over 400 deaths per day (US deaths per day currently run 6K to 7K)
* Killed slightly less than all other US wars combined
* More combat deaths than all US wars combined except 1

Why, exactly?

Because you're stupid. Where the hell did you go to college, or high school for that matter?

Younger people this day in time are brainwashed. They don't understand that the sacrifices of these men and women have given them the opportunities of freedom of speech... Spoiled brats really, they enjoy the benefits without giving thanks to the ones who fought for them...
