Could It Actually Happen?
Its Fox Sports was is a bit more reliable of a source than BR.
Do you think Jerry Jones could make this happen, it would almost guarantee a bad year since we have so many holes on defense. And with the inability to trade Romo and the salary cap effect if we cut him (I like Romo FWIW) I dont see how this is even remotely possible.
But if this did happen I would be fricking stoked!

Riiiiiiight. Right after that the Texans will built a time machine, go back to 2002, and draft Julius Peppers, Ed Reed, and Dwight Freeney.

Serious question: how many horn cowboys fans would boycott if this happened? There are a lot in Dallas and around the state, and I remember they even boycotted Stephen McGee in small numbers. I'd imagine they'd burn their trailer parks to the ground if the cowboys drafted Johnny.

People say dumb shite like that all the time. My boss who didn't goto college and loves the Texans said he's throwing away all his Texans gear if they draft JFF.

I didn't think it would be wise to draft Vince, but I never even came close to proclaiming that I'd throw a titty baby temper tantrum if they did.

No. More likely that the Browns win the Super Bowl this next year. The cowboys are sitting at no 16 and don't have the ability to trade up to get him. What's more, with Romo in the picture they have much more serious needs than QB. They'd be dumb to take him.
Manziel is going to the Texans, the Jags, the Browns, or possibly the Raiders. All of those teams are in desperate need of a QB and someone's going to pick him up. I expect him to go to the Jags because the Texans are known for making poor decisions and will probably pick Clowney.

If Dallas somehow gets Johnny I am buying season tickets b/c it will only be a matter of time before he (fair or not) takes Romo's job.
