After living in Oxford for 5 years, I would guess he was just being a drunk and talked back to the cops. Some of those OPD guys are cool but the majority are on complete power trips.

Almost happened to me a couple of months ago, bars had just closed and me a buddy and a chick were walking by a cop sitting in the ally by Frank and Marley's with the window down. As we passed by he said, "you want to say that again?" and got out of his car. I had no idea he was talking to us as none of us had said shite so I kept walking. Then he yelled, "I heard what you said you better watch your mouth" I turned around and realized he was talking to me. I told him "Sir, I didn't say anything". Cop responds don't try lying to me I heard you. I was a little aggravated at this point and said "Man I didn't say anything" and just kept walking
very surprised he didn't slap me with drunk in public

Is this like one of those, "I know you are but what am I?" Things. I'm confused. I am not an Ole Miss Black Bear.

Sounds like he was arrested for common college kid drunk stuff.

Serderius Bryant was also arrested, for public drunkeness and disturbing the peace.
I have it on good authority that he was not drunk -- he's actually still shaking off this hit...

Police should have tazed him and beat his arse with night sticks.

He is doing college right. Hate he got "caught" but most students in Oxford do at one point or another.

Hell I got arrested for that a few times in Oxpatch. Not hard to do, also called being drubk a nd stupid.....then I got a lick of common sense and buddied up to the cops and helped keep people from getting arrested at parties and shite and all was good....

I'm almost positive that's the same goon who was making a complete fool out of himself as the Hill arrest transpired. Alahunter and a couple of moronoic UGA fans kept those Hill threads going for weeks with their idiocy.

According to him it did. Are you saying he is a liar. He said that Hill would not have been allowed to rejoin the team had they voted him off. Does that make it sound as if Miles made the decision or the team made the decision? Had Miles wanted him gone, Hill would have been gone, right?

@denzelnkemdiche Hopefully I won't be judged by the exaggerated claims of how I acted on my 21st birthday. I still know what's important in life.God got me.
So, basically Denzel says he was just having a good time and did nothing wrong. He's a good guy and always has God in his heart.
If he had just come out and tweeted he is sorry for his actions and he got a little crazy on his 21st birthday, I would absolutely have no problem with what happened. Most of us have been there in a similar situation, drunk in college and rowdy. Not all of us get arrested, but probably could have or should have been. But then he tweets this out and basically thinks he did nothing wrong, is a role model citizen, and God is with him at all times. bullshite! God wasn't with him when he got hammered on his birthday and did whatever he did to get arrested. Own it and move on. He and Bryant shouldn't miss any game time for this, just the obligatory suspended and handled internally. But leave the Godly talk to Pastor Freeze.

It's OPD. There are some good OPD cops but a good amount are high school badasses who abuse their power. A few years ago they started arresting people that were walking home from the square because they were drunk in public.
