I was about to post Arkansas, but this makes a serious argument to that.

we have nothing else

false, it's obvious by your fanbase's obsession with Mizzou that we mean the most to your state.

Id say LSU is at least in the top 3, but I grew up only 40 minutes out of Baton Rouge.

No way it's the Vols, not any more. In fairness, if you want to talk about the Eastern third of the state, I think the levels of obsession match/surpass any other fanbase.

But it recedes considerably as you go West. Plus there are three pro franchises and three other FBS teams in the state. TN is also full of northern transplants now that pull for their native B1G teams.

I'd vote Arky, with Bama and UK right behind.

I agree with you!

And I would put UT in a close fourth!

1. Alabama. Even though Auburn is there, the state is roughly around 70/30 Alabama. They are fanatics and live and breed Crimson Tide football.

Well what about Wyoming? You're biggest competition is the decaying Cheyenne's right?

Got to go with Arkansas or LSU. Arkansas doesn't have a pro team but LSU fans might be a bit more crazy about LSU than Arkansas fans are about Arkansas. Too close to call IMO.

Your biggest competition is proper grammar, right?

You could pretty much say the same thing about Kentucky and its two basketball programs.

True. But Kentucky isn't really a divided state. Louisville fans don't exist outside the Louisville metro area. And even inside that area it's split about 50/50 UK/UL.
