Any coach that voted Bama lower than 3rd shouldn't be allowed to vote, they obviously don't know how.

So, only 8 got it right?

Mich. St. beat an undefeated #2.
Bama lost to a one-loss #2. Their biggest win was against a team that lost to Ole Miss.

Mich. St. won a conference championship.
Bama didn't even win their division.

How could you possibly put Bama anywhere but below 3?

At least Spurrier didn't have to vote Duke #25 this year

Winning the conference won't matter as much to the SEC starting next year so that point is moot.

In the grand scheme of things does it really matter?

I think the opposite. They've said that winning your conference will be emphasized. Let's put it this way, this year, AU, FSU, MSU and Baylor being selected wouldn't be a shock, imo.

Cutcliffe and Fisher have Clemson in the top 10. That's cute

So just like the BCS, the playoff system will be about politics and not having the 4 best teams playing...
