2006 - Florida 23 vs LSU 10 - These were the two best teams that year. Screw OSU.
Auburn beat both these teams. Yet they somehow lost to Arkansas and UGA.

You forgot Kenny Irons too.

2002 vs UF - Damon Duval blew 2 chances to repeat his 2001 game winning FG
2002 vs UGA - Had FB Brandon Johnson not gotten injured, we might have turned the 14-3 halftime lead into a blowout.
2003 vs USC - I was at a travel baseball tournament all day and stayed up until 3 am watching a VHS recording of the 23-0 blowout. Absolutely devastating.
2003 vs Ole Miss -- Obomanu dropped the game winning TD.
05 LSU - John Freaking Vaughn's 5 missed FG's wasted Kenny Irons' 218 yards.
07 LSU - The last time we even came close to winning in Baton Rouge
13 vs FSU - If Mason doesn't break all of those tackles on his late TD, we kick the game winner as time expires.

Bankruptcy attorney here.
Few questions:
1) What is the extent of their assets?
2) What is the nature of the debts? Are they all unsecured?
3) Does the household have a regular income? How much?

And you think starting Thomas at WR2 is a no-brainer? Snead's toe is another consideration.
re: Flex Question: Who do you start

Standard.
Antonio Brown is my WR1. Thomas is normally my WR2, but I'm nervous about his hip and the Bengals' D.
I need to pick 2 of Thomas, Snead, Sharpe, and Bernard.

What about Sharpe v. Willie Snead? (Demaryius Thomas and Gio Bernard are also in the picture)

This from a fan of the school that runs around claiming they take players kicked out of other schools and turn them around!
Auburn fans joke about this tongue-in-cheek. UGA fans brag about "doing things the right way" without a hint of irony.
quote:
Don't remember when we last "suck"ed. Auburn does quite frequently, though. We just beat Auburn regularly
"Suck" may have been too strong a word. I simply meant that UGA always seems to play their best game against Auburn. 2006, 2007, and 2014 are good examples. If anything, I meant that as a compliment.
quote:
Your logic sucks much more frequently than Georgia does.
My logic? Since when is logic relevant to someone's subjective opinion of another school?
Which reminds me - UGA fans love to gloat about their academic superiority. Congratulations, you're a solid state school, but newsflash, nobody is impressed. In professions that actually care about prestige, SEC schools are fungible with the exception of Vanderbilt.

Alabama: 10 - by default, but I respect what Saban has built and don't interact with Alabama fans often enough to really hate them.
UGA: 8 - Being from Atlanta, I grew up hating UGA more than anyone else. Their sense of moral superiority is nauseating. Also, they somehow always show up for Auburn even when they otherwise suck. But my mom and sisters are UGA grads, so my hate is tempered.
LSU: 7 - Mostly because Auburn hasn't defeated LSU in BR since 1999. Otherwise, I respect LSU a lot and think Les Miles is hilarious.
Arkansas: 10 - By far my least favorite team in the SEC. Their fans seem to have some strange axe to grind against Auburn for taking coaches and players from their state (see, e.g., Malzahn, Tuberville, Dyer, Burns, Ziemba, etc.). They also become unbearable the second they are half way decent. And they hold the fact that they're the flagship school in Arkansas over Auburn's head as if that means anything. Also, I'm still not over 2006 or 2015.
Mississippi State: 9 - similar to Arkansas, I just don't have any respect for them. Dan Mullen is slimy. The whole Cam Newton saga with their boosters. fricking cowbells.
Ole Miss: 5 - No real hate here, except that the 2003 game was probably the single most devastating loss of my childhood. My law school roommate was an Ole Miss grad and we got along well.
A&M: 5 - No real hate here either, except they are overly arrogant based on their history. Any frustration I had towards A&M for destroying us in 2012 was erased by 2013 and 2015. I knew some A&M grads in law school and they were good dudes.
Mizzou: 7 - Mostly, I just wish they weren't in the SEC. Their political drama is an embarrassment and they were pretty obnoxious before the 2013 SEC Championship game.
South Carolina: 3 - They never beat Auburn, so I don't really hate them. I was pissed when they got Marcus Lattimore, I guess. And I cannot stand Clemson or Dabo, so I enjoyed watching Spurrier troll them. Also, I always enjoy watching them beat UGA or Alabama in 2010.
Tennessee: 3 - Again, they never beat Auburn. I always root for them against Alabama and UGA.
Florida: 4 - Another East team that hasn't beat Auburn in forever. Losing in 2002 sucked, but 2001, 2006, and 2007 made up for that. Also, I like when they beat UGA or LSU.
Kentucky: 5 - I never really think about UK football. Except they somehow beat us in 2009 and almost beat us in 2010.
Vanderbilt: 1 - My wife is a Vandy grad and I think it's a great school.
UGA: 8 - Being from Atlanta, I grew up hating UGA more than anyone else. Their sense of moral superiority is nauseating. Also, they somehow always show up for Auburn even when they otherwise suck. But my mom and sisters are UGA grads, so my hate is tempered.

For years I thought T.I. was wearing a Bo Jackson jersey in the video for the song "24's"
Was super disappointing when someone in the youtube comments pointed out that it was actually a Herschel jersey.

My org in ADK has something like 75 members and is always open to new members. I spent $300 on an Orion that crews 7 or 8 so there will be room for plenty of folks there. Hoping to make tons of cash early mining and buy a small defensive fleet and a Reclaimer, then get into the salvage business and rent out my Orion to entrepreneurs for a nice commission.
Yeah, I'd be happy to join you guys. That's awesome, the Orion looks legit. I have a Taurus, Sabre, Super Hornet, Gladius, and Avenger. I enjoy having all the fighters for Arena Commander, but will probably only keep the Sabre once the game launches. I'll melt down the rest for one of the bigger ships during the anniversary sale next month.

After what I saw from the multi-crew demo at Gamescom and all the SQ42 stuff at CitizenCon, I've dropped wayyy too much money on virtual spaceships.
So hyped though.
Gusoline -- I literally have nobody to play with, so let me know if you want to team up at some point.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I ended up getting the XPS 13 on Amazon for $1150 (touchscreen/8gb ram/128gb ssd).
I decided I wouldn't get enough use out of the Yoga 3 Pro's alternative modes to justify the step down in CPU.
I'll be sure to update you guys with my thoughts once it gets here.

Thoughts On Touchscreen Laptops?

I'm looking to buy a new laptop and I can't decide whether the touchscreen functionality is worth the extra money. For those of you with touchscreen laptops, do you actually use it?
For the record, I am looking at the Dell XPS 13 and the Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro. Any advice would be much appreciated.

start > type disk management > click "create and format hard disk partitions"
The Disk Management window will open and probably tell you that you need to initialize a disk. If it's just a 2TB or less HDD, initialize it as MBR.
You'll then see a list of of your connected disks. Find the one with "unallocated" space. Right click and select "New Simple Volume" and it will walk you through formatting and such.
Awesome -- I'll try that and see what happens. Thanks!

Thanks! Would you mind walking me through exactly how to do that? Or point me to a link that does?

Alright I'm back for more help.
I finished my build and everything is working great -- except for my WD Caviar Black. I've got it hooked up to my PSU fine and the data cable isn't broken (it works fine with my SSD). I can feel the hard drive spinning, but it's not being recognized by my BIOS or device manager.
Any ideas?

Wait so does this mean I should return the GTX 970's I just ordered before I do my build or is this a non-issue?
As in -- should I potentially opt for 1 GTX 980 (and potentially add another later) rather than trying to do 2-way SLI with the GTX 970's now?

If this thing has its own built-in DAC, it's going to bypass your expensive sound card completely. And if the headset has any sort of analog mode to bypass its DAC, it seems to me you're paying too much for the headset if you aren't going to use the DAC portion of it.
Hmmm you might be right. But the reviews of the headset that I was reading/watching on YouTube specifically warned that you would need a decent sound card to get the most out of the headset and the Asus Essence STX was specifically mentioned as a good choice.
I definitely need to look into this more.
