Georgia, when are you ever going to step up?

Giving Auburn the 2004 championship because OU was awful that year and USC cheated, you are the only team since 2002 to win the SEC championship and not get to the title game, and your team in 2005 interrupted what would otherwise be a 10-year streak of national championships for the conference.
When are you going to earn your keep?

None of that made any sense

They won't as long as Richt is there and Auburn/Bama/Florida steal instate talent. No complaints here though.

Auburns been pulling Georgia talent forever. UGA can only sign so many, and the other SEC (and some ACC) schools get their share in a talent rich environment.
Pat Dye made a living out of recruiting in Georgia.

Dayum - you're right. Never noticed that before.
Owell ... SCAR is about to surpass them so really, the whole UGA thing is a mute point.

We just really don't care.

IDGAF about the streak, honestly. I want us to win a championship for our sake.

You decide. I'm fine with either one.

Wouldn't LSU have made the title game in 2005 if we didn't beat the dogshit out of them?

Bah. The SEC title is what counts. The BCS is great, and I would love to get a shot to get in that game, but you are voted into it. It is part record, part luck, and part beauty contest.
Not taking anything away from the SEC teams that have rightfully dominated the game once they got the chance, but the SEC Championship game is earned. You play your way into it, you aren't voted into it.
For example. anyone with half a brain realizes that last year the National Championship game WAS the SEC Championship game. Alabama wasn't voted into that game. They earned their way into it and earned a hard fought win against the 2nd best team in the Nation - Georgia.
This year the SEC Championship may be for the national title as well. Or it may be the Iron Bowl.
But the BCS? Puhleaze.
Screw the rest of the country and their pansy-arse titles. And screw the yankee fools that vote in any team other than the SEC Champion. Any time the SEC Champ is denied a chance to play in the BCS it cheapens the entire BCS and exposes it as a fraud.
And the rest of the SEC should recognize this. It's not Georgia's fault it can't vote itself into the BCS.
So shame on the OP and those that agree with it.
