The only one's I was familiar with were Trent and Yeldon. Trent was better in high school.

If Lattimore had the OLine we have this year - good gosh.
But there are three in there, maybe four, who you knew coming straight out of HS were going to be very good. The others, at least IMHO, there were character issues rumored to be involved before they ever signed ... and that always is a part of the evaluation process, is it not?

Was Trent better in high school? Yeldon's the only player I've ever heard of at the 6a level to carry the ball three or four times for three or four touchdowns and then sit the rest of the game because they're saving him for the playoffs.

Despite his troubles, Dyer was a damn good back.
Auburn almost had Dyer and Lattimore.
THANK YOU STEPHEN DAVIS.

I really don't know how this is possible other than watching highlight tapes of them.

His son is a phenom in his own right if I am not mistaken ... and is already looking at schools. Not sure what class he is in.

I gotta be honest. Always thought Lattimore was extremely overrated.
Of course that's probably because he never blew Auburn up.

He was a beast in HS. A man amongst boys and he played in a big boy conference ... where tons of SEC D1 talent comes from. He was so dominant in terms of steam rolling big time opposition that people from all of the state would show-up just to watch him truck somebody and then juke the next guy for big gains. His problem in HS was that he used to seek contact. He was just punishing. Truly a once a decade talent in any given state.
