I know its a registered trademark logo but when I found other pics of helmets they are sans trademark logo.

I love the logo, and would like to see that all the time. The pattern, though... wow that's bad. Bad as in "Not A&M". Why not add some lightning bolts? Or maybe "My Little Pony" stickers?

Isn't that pattern an extrapolation of the one on the team's official athletic shoes? Looked like it to me.
Not super crazy about the pattern itself, but it's understated enough that it doesn't detract from the logo IMO. Looks better than if they'd just slapped the new logo on our normal helmet.

Maybe. But a nice fade like that used on the Snow Bowl helmets would look much better in my opinion. With maroon jerseys and/or pants it should be more maroon and less black and it would be perfect. This looks like the Bengals to me. Just... bad.

Ah, I misunderstood. I thought you were talking about my reply.
Obviously not a genius, then
I have no idea whether young Aggies are destroying A&M or not. My guess is "not". There are a lot of changes, for sure, but I'm not sure that a lot of those things shouldn't be different. I wouldn't trade my experience there for anything, but there's no way in Hell I'd want one of my kids to go through my days at A&M.
Just don't screw up the helmets
