I think Alabama will be the 4th in the SEC overall. We have depth now. And a white boy shooter. Huge imo. Norris, remember the name.

Uh, Norris will be playing for Albertville High School this year. And he got shut down by a 5'11 guard last year. Lets not count on him.

Cheese Grits' statement was smug bullshite with nothing to back it up.

Here ie what I wrote, notice the words in BOLD and underlined

quote:

Play for Mizzou and have a pro career in Europe
Play for Kentucky and have a pro career in the NBA

Dad may have his heart in Mizzou but his mind may know UK is the better probability for a pro career.

quote:

"Learned so much from (former Mizzou coach) Norm Stewart in the 2 hours I was with him. One of the greatest to ever coach."

Norm Stewart will not be coaching his son. Norm is almost 80 and has not coached Mizzou since the 90's!

quote:

Your coach and program's philosophy is to go after one and done top prospects who already know they are going to the NBA.

It is they way of college ball at this point in time. It is not smug bullsh*t as you imply when your former players go on to play in the NBA and then remain in the NBA to coach. You have heard of Pat Riley I hope? You assume it is smugness when it really is just the facts. You know what happens when you assume things, right?

Belle, as Cal says...it is the Kentucky Effect.

Amazing, the mere mention on UK Basketball is polarizing.

Hey look. It's Grits chiding another Mizzou fan out of selfless devotion to justice and Murica.

Notice I used sub elite and not sub par. UCLA is still up there, just not at the very top like they were in the 60's - 70's under Papa Sam. Since Wooden left UNC, Duke, Connecticut, Louisville, Kentucky, Kansas, Michigan State, and Indiana probably make up the Elite Eight. Arizona under Lute probably is ahead of UCLA in the PAC, but I would have to research the actual numbers. A school like Syracuse (#3 in the Big East pre realignment) is probably ahead of UCLA post Wooden.

It is not like the Burins are scraping the bottom of the barrel but they are not the tip top either. Speaking of which, have they upgraded PP yet or is it still in the process? What will the capacity be when they are done?

UK is nasty and has a deep bench. Only weakness is FT shooting, but I expect it to improve. Have to say, best looking UK team since 96 and 12. I can see this team putting a 86 point half time score on a team in conference.

Be prepared SEC, the circus is coming to your venue soon

I fricking love Kentucky football, despite the lack of success. I like Kentucky basketball and want them to win too, but they'll never be Kentucky football to me.

Some of us can pay attention to more than one sport at a time though, and if you can't... well, that just shows your that your brain doesn't quite function at full capacity.

I watch Kentucky football, Kentucky basketball, Kentucky womens basketball, Kentucky volleyball, the Redskins, the Capitals, and the World Series and appreciate all of them for what they are. I'm sorry that you can't keep up with more than one sport.

So, you're an "inbred huntin' in the SEC?" Shouldn't you be "huntin'" closer to home? I'm sure your sisters haven't strayed far.

BTW, we've got the money so why shouldn't we buy the best?

And the fans of programs that don't dominate your sport, you are like the little dick guy who only get dates with fat chicks. If you aren't Bama or UK, then you don't get the hot chicks. #9 is coming.

No. Sister screwing is definitely a Southern thang, not for Yankees.

Well, it's a good thing that you're not talking to me since I'm more of a Yankee than you could ever dream of being.

What I find funny is that little bitch arse Mizzou is trying to talk shite to a real blue blood... something that your team will never be. In any sport.
