The East was down in 2010. Auburn got a flawed USC twice (they beat Bama so people overrate them) and Georgia was deplorable 6-7 (3-5). Kentucky was bad too at 6-7 (2-6). Bizarre year for the conference. Great offense on the 2010 team. Pretty decent against the run though those numbers were helped by an offensive juggernaut on the other side.

2004 Auburn barely beat 2004 LSU. I think the 2007 team could have really challenged them, probably even won the game on the road.

2010 Auburn would wreck 2012 Alabama
Umm, 2010 Auburn didn't even wreck 2010 Bama, and that team lost to Steven Garcia.

I don't think so. They were a great team, but Auburn hasn't blown out LSU in a long, long time. Highly unlikely. Would be a great game, though.

People ranking 2008 Florida 4th or worse are seriously underrating just how good that team was on both sides of the ball.
I'm shocked honestly.
Do people forget how much NFL talent was on that team?

Isn't this week the big rival game for y'all?
We play the piggies this week, hardly a rival.

you're dumber than shite. that team was loaded on both sides of the ball.
So were all the other teams on the list except 98 UT.
Yep. That team got by on grit and effort. Only 32 future NFL players on the roster.

Because Clint Stoerner was the MVP of that team.

And that somehow makes them worse than a team that lost to Kentucky and Arkansas?

Yeah, they almost lost a game to a top 10 team but they didn't. What about teams that lost multiple games, including a game to an unranked opponent at home?

It doesn't bother me where you rank LSU's national championship teams. It bothers you that your team isn't well thought of because Arkansas Arkansas'd.

Nice list with a little work.
Not sure why you have Bama 2011 listed at all though
You have to at least win your division to be considered a champion of anything, right?

I had to list them. Didn't want to appear as though I was denying the truth (that Bama's best team in the history if their program couldn't beat Jordan Jefferson in Bryant-Denny)

LOL at the idea that 2010 Auburn would "wreck" anybody, they scrapped by Clemson, Kentucky, South Carolina, LSU, Alabama, and Oregon.
Almost all championship teams have that 1 game they pull out of the fire or scrap by, but Auburn 2010 did it every week.
People are being WAY too results oriented. Sometimes great teams lose games, sometimes bad teams win games. There's way too much focus on final record.
I get that's what it's all about at the end of the day, but there's this thing called variance.
