he has done himself no favors in a lot of games as well. awful playcalling and trying to be the smartest guy in the room
This x 100.
The No-Call was dogshit, but that game could've been put away had SP been ready for a fake punt. I mean, it was glaringly obvious to the point I called it before the play, as I'm sure many of you did too. You'd think he of all people would be thinking about it. The 9ers game still pisses me off to no end because of the head hunting on PT. What pisses me off more is the shite Saints D that kept the best offense ever from winning a SB. And that's on SP as the HC for continuing to think of one side of the ball. It goes on and on, but Denver got a nasty taste of his arrogance in the AFCCG.

The scene at dinner was amazingly done. You could tell who was who and them playing actors playing other characters was something special. They all nailed it, especially the Pacino character.
Just watched this series in 3 nights. I loved it. And yes, the dinner scene was phenomenal and I hope that's how it really happened. I know there's was a lot of liberties taken and this was Hollywoodized, but man it was such a good series.

Aint touching this POS stock every again. Biggest loss i ever took was listening to people on this one. Yeah i'm still mad
Honestly mad at myself a bit. I was up kinda big on it for a while and then held it until I was down heavy  finally dumped it last year for some harvesting.

My wife is Latvian so we were a house divided today
I told her what you said about the goalie and she said emphatically "why?"

I still don't get it
I'll watch some video or something, need visual. At least there is a power play if a challenge is wrong, unlimited is ridiculous.

Honestly, this is why I don't watch hockey. Don't understand shite about icing or offsides  and then 2 goals get challenged because a skate is a cm in the wrong place/direction? How many pussy challenges are allowed?

You're not gonna get an argument out of me. I made my wife watch it a few months back, or at least tried. She said it was awful and went and did other shite
ETA: I always laugh at the Porsche door being in perfect shape even though the car had been wrecked, during the Sully scene.

This fight blows
Yeah that was a shite fight and the black dude look completely uninterested
The article is pushing fear. Using that age range is ridiculous. It should do something like 40 or later until 64. However, this is somewhat of a "fear" push I can get behind if it scares/wakes up some young people. I kinda messed that up myself, but I also didn't work in fields that offered this type of stuff in my 20's as I was freelancing in the film industry. Once I hit my 30's though I at least started investing in company 401k's when I switched careers. Unfortunately I didn't max it as I was new to it. Thankfully in my late 30's I started my own 401k when I switched to 1099 and maxed that shite. Retired at 49 thanks to a very high paying 14 year career. Having no kids really helped there!
Regarding SS, we've been hearing about insolvency for a long time. I think it will be there for me in about 15 years, even if it is reduced a little. Or if I have to wait till 70, which I want to do anyway. I don't count on SS at all, but at minimum it should at least cover medical if they don't want to pay me in full.

And I thought the last season was a big step down for the most part (with some awesome parts though, obviously).
There were a couple episodes that were what you could call a let down, but I thought the last season was great. It definitely stuck the landing and had one of, if not the greatest episode in TV history with Ozymandias. As most people say the ceiling was higher with BB, but BCS was definitely very consistent. I wasn't completely in love with the last season though.

BCS > BB by a lot.
Nah. But if you liked it more, I can't argue.

still absolutely criminal that BCS didn't win a single Emmy.
It's best not to watch any awards shows, they're garbage. I haven't watched any of them for 15+ years. We all know BCS was unbelievably acted and written.

You CANNOT say that and then say this....
As mentioned imo. Wasn't watching as much TV during the first ER seasons. Then it became a "too many seasons to catch up" type feeling.

I have news for you!
 does this type of pandering not bother people?

ER, House and the Good Doctor are the only ones I ever watched so I'll go with those.
For me it was St. Elsewhere when I was young and then years later I watched House, which is the GOAT imo, and then The Good Doctor. I never watched ER.
Because of this thread my wife and I watched a few eps of The Pitt the last couple nights. It's pretty non-stop action which I can kinda get behind. I'm not a big drama guy, give me the meat and potatoes. However, it's a bit over the top with the wokeness. We've got all the flavors (hijab, asian, indian, B&W of course), all-knowing women, although I am surprised there's not a flaming doctor/nurse or someone in a wheelchair. Maybe that's still to come. I guess the OCD/spectrum girls hits a quota. They also made sure to have the white racist guy on the same episode as the "normal" tranny. Is it impossible to just do a show without all of the narrative being pushed? That said we're going to keep watching a bit more and hope it sticks to interesting story/cases. If it has a constant need to push a narrative we'll stop.
