AAPL first bought in 2009. Has been a great ride. I also dropped a big chunk of $ into the COVID market in March/April 2020 with a bunch of stocks and that has been excellent.

Do you have the CSR or CSP? Oct 1st, the CSP is getting devalued to Hyatt 4:3, so you may want to transfer. I normally wouldn't recommend that, but if you know you will use them for Hyatts then transfer now. If you have the CSR then you're all good.

You've gotten some excellent responses in this thread, but I would add the suggestion of talking to a luxury travel agent. We've used one now for an African Safari, an Antarctica Cruise, and we've been talking to her about a European Christmas Market River Cruise. I'm happy to share her info with anyone that wants it because we think she is that great and no I don't get anything for referrals. It will not cost you a penny more and because she is a Virtuoso Member you get extra perks.
For what you're trying to do, it may be well worth having the help. She will work with your budget because trust me she can also get you stuff that cost way too much vs what you can stomach.

Yeah, this is a pretty good answer depending on if you want to get personal or business cards. I picked up the CSR Biz last month to get the 200,000 points for $30k spend. I also have the regular CSR. Will cancel the biz version next year. Currently you cam get 100k points on the regular CSR for $6k spend.
The AMEX Plat can get 175k points on $12k spend or you can get offers sometimes as high as 300k points for the Biz version with only $20k spend. And AMEX transfers to Delta if that's important to you. As Ocean mentioned, with the Biz Plat, paying with points on your chosen airline gets you back 35% of your points. Although, most times you can do really well transferring points to an airline.
Cap1 Venture X is a great card i also carry. Bilt is really good right now. Lots of choices.
If AA is important to you then look into the Citi cards. They're the only program who transfers directly to AA miles. They have $99 cards and $695 cards depending on what you want.
Personally, I'd look into getting 2 cards bonuses: Chase and AMEX or maybe Cap1/Bilt and Citi. Since you want Delta and AA, maybe AMEX and Citi would be your best bets.

We did 15 days in Peru in 2024, which was absofrickinglutely awesome. The hike to Machu Picchu was so worth it. The food is incredible in Peru. We then did 10 days in Galapagos. 5 on land and 5 on a small boat as well (I believe 14). Really enjoyed diving with all the sharks, especially the hammerheads.
We did an Alaskan cruise with Celebrity back in 2017 which was our first and it was great. Looking forward to doing Alaska again at some point.
In Nov-Dec we just did an 18 day Antarctica Cruise with Swan Hellenic which was unreal. We spent another 3 weeks in Argentina. Really enjoyed S. America the last couple years.

Same. First I had ever heard of Amazon. Went to college in SF and it was the same bullshite racket. One semester I wanted to borrow or rent the book from my buddy who took it the semester before and he tried selling it to me. Got it on Amazon. Unfortunately, they didn't have all books and I remember spending $300 a couple times. Not sure why that shite is legal.
