What have you been watching? So far he's been all he was touted as being. Just because he'd be the best player on your defense today doesn't mean he's supposed to start at Alabama. We just have better players than you. Collins time will come, at this point in his career he's played as much as Mark Barron with better guys ahead of him than Barron. Collins is a 3 year player.

As someone else said, the kid is only in his sophomore year, but it looks like he is about to get a string of starts against mediocre to bad teams which is a great place for him to get more comfortable.
As far as the whole not starting thing, look at how the guys in front of him were playing. Clinton-Dix is an All-American level safety and Sunseri has been great this year after being relieved of some of his coverage duties.

Bama couldn't stop lsu when we were the 85th ranked offense last year. They aren't gonna stop us this year. It's gonna be 10 times in 13 years lsu has beaten bama.

I guess you don't watch many of our games which is understandable since they are often on at the same time. He has been playing extensively pretty much the whole season and Saban said he was basically a starter. 3rd stringer is blatantly wrong.

Is it just me, but yesterday I could have sworn LC was a great player who made a huge mistake going to Bama and is seeing his talent go to waste.

He has been on the field more often than not though, so it isn't like he has simply been sitting on the bench.
ETA: Sunseri is not playing the same position he was last year and has been much better in coverage this year since he doesn't play man coverage hardly at all anymore.
