I agree he hasn't had the chance to fully prove himself but I'm looking forward to him getting that chance. Even in his role as ST's player and dime back he has more solo tackles than anyone on LSU's team playing in 1 fewer game.
It's not a good thing when your DBS have a lot of tackles. It either means your letting receivers catch the ball or you're letting rb get to your secondary.

Never attack a LA kid, period. Lets face it we missed on Landon and paying for it now. He would be starting for us now. Hate to see him playing for the Gumps but that's life. Ms April gonna bring us GW for sure !!

I paid attention the night he committed. Serious question.. Could you link anything from Collins saying he was going to choose LSU? Or leaning towards LSU? Genuinely curious..
I felt so bad for LC that day. Even me , a die hard lsu fan, wanted to slap his mom. Someone should've shaken her and said," this day isn't about you , bitch! It's about your son. Act like a grown up and support your child!"

If they don't have tackles, it means guys are scorching them while they flail around like idiots. At least on some defenses.

Meh. He is a safety. We have bigger problems than safety play.

Bama couldn't stop lsu when we were the 85th ranked offense last year. They aren't gonna stop us this year. It's gonna be 10 times in 13 years lsu has beaten bama.
You couldn't move the ball against Colorado st.
HOW'S THAT LOSS GOING FOR THE LSU FANS?!!?

Bruh, stop. You played one good offense and gave up 600 yards.
We played one good offense and gave up 500.

You guys need to understand that LSU fans take it as a personal insult if a recruit from here directly spurns LSU for another "rival" SEC team. I consider myself a reasonable person along with my father and brother and I can say that we cannot help but irrationally dislike a guy like Collins. I can't explain it, I'm not saying it's right but it's just a fact and seems to be more prevalent in Louisiana.

I'm fine. I don't let a game, played by kids , determine my sense of self worth.
No amount of bama wins will make your sister/ wife look better.

You make it sound like it will be a pillow fight for the ages.

Nope. I'm happy for any LA kid that gets a schools and plays were HE CHOOSES. it's his life. Why would I hate him for doing what he wants.

Yep, but Bama gave up 42 points and won. You gave up 44 and lost. Don't leave that part out.

Not necessarily. Barron was 2nd on the team in tackles on 2 of the best Bama defenses of all times.

We are talking about defense. Uga is a better all around team than A&M. Period.
A&M gave up 900 yards to rice and Sam Houston. A&M also had a fit putting away arky. Yeah the same arky that got pushed around by Rutgers. So stop acting like their equal games.

I don't think he was talking about you. FWIW, I get what you are saying that LC is unproven in the role he is about to assume, but we are saying he has shown he is at worst capable and at best has stepped up to make plays against some lesser competition. He has had a lot of significant 1st team PT this season which makes us confident he will get it.
I also think you misunderstand what I was saying about Clinton-Dix. I don't think he will be a top 15 pick especially if he has to take significant time off, but enough people are predicting it that it isn't crazy to think he will end up there.

Well I didn't mean to imply it the only way a db has tackles. My bad. It's usually true that the players leading the league in stats 4-6 weeks in, on defense, are the players on defenses that can't get off the field. Look at the sacks leaders now, it's Kentucky and arky players.

I think LC will be all sec before he leaves bama. He certainly has all the tools.
As far as Ha Ha being a top 15 pick, I just don't see it. He isn't a physical presence(206) and I doubt he runs in the 4.3's. I just don't put stick into mock drafts. A lot of people had Loston as the best safety in the sec and we see how that has turned out. I think Clinton Dix is probably the best safety in the sec , but you have to be special as hell to get drafted top 15 overall as a safety. Just look at the ones drafted since 01, Mbarron( maybe the best safety ever at bama), e berry( one of the biggest playmakers in sec history ) llandry(all American 235lbs and ran a 4.36 at the combine). I just don't see ha ha in that league.
ETA: this time last year mock drafts had barret Jones as a 1st rounder
