I'm puzzled by the MSNBC reference, as well.
I mean hell- people are actually watching Ole Miss, these days.

I think it was clear he was trying to indicate which of the two school's fans he found more insufferable.*
*Note: that was actually not clear at all and may be, in fact, made up.

Nah. Most of the Ole Miss posters on this site are politically-liberal atheists.

Really? Hmm... All the ones I know are frat stars so that may have something to do with my perception.

Of course I do, but to say that MSU and OM are separate by an hour’s drive does not take into account the fundamental differences in their two cultures. Ole Miss has the Medical School and the Law School. MSU has agriculture. In a small town are there differences between the men who plow fields and those who do their bypass surgery? They live in the same town but have different backgrounds. Ole Miss has more in common with the University of Texas than it does with MSU. Those two schools are separated by hundreds of miles. There are blue collar and white collar folks at both schools but the overwhelming number of fans at each school skew very much in opposite directions. Skoal and wranglers vs. kakis and loafers.

Ole Miss and State fans are pretty damn different when it comes to mentality and fan culture but that doesn't mean we didn't grow up across the street from each other. Fans from both schools that are actually from Mississippi are similar by nature but that doesn't change our mutual hate. Ole Miss is getting way more OOS students that don't really understand the dynamic though, so things are changing slowly.
The Alabama/Auburn fan mentality is similar to Ole Miss/State

You should do what I do. Some days, on Fridays, I like to grab a jar of peanut butter and an apple and I like to cover that apple with peanut butter but I don't eat it, I put it in the refrigerator for the night. It has to be cold, not cool. If it's cold, I take it out and I scrape off as much of the peanut butter as I can(you can't scrape it all off because that would be impossible, so don't even try or I will wreck you). It should Saturday by this point and you should have a freshly polished apple without much peanut butter on it, you can put the peanut butter back on it(new peanut butter, not the old peanut butter that you just scraped off of it) if you're not satisfied at this point but if you are, you can cut the apple into slices. You should impale each slice to make a small enough hole to fit a small string or fishing line, a hole puncher is not effective for punching holes in an apple slice. You may see where I am going with this at this point, so you will insert a small string or fishing line through the apple and tie a knot to secure the apple slice to the string and once the apple slice is secure, you can tire this new freshening ornament anywhere in your domain, bathrooms, your car, your cabinets, everywhere will smell like a picnic.

quote:You sound like a douche. Yes, MSU is the ag school and Ole Miss is geared toward the white collar side of things but last time I checked it's not 1965. And if you think we are more like Texas than State, you're a true tard and I hope you find help.

We are very different in a lot of ways but our fan bases are still very intertwined. The differences are obvious and the hate is there but freezus, the rant isn't real life....
Also, we share the med school dumbass

I don't know if Stansbury ever did worse than split the series vs Ole Miss while he was at MSU.

even our worst team in history last year split with their dream team. i guess we fired Stans because Renardo was a double secret agent working for them and imploded our program from the inside along with years of shite conditioning and a lack of control.

Say what?
Stans went 13-1 against you in Starkville and 8-6 against you in Oxford. You never "got competitive".
